2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500 with 141,456 miles. This is an electronic news gathering television production truck outfitted by Wolf Coach services, an L3 company. There is lots of information about their company online and when new, this Sprinter conversion sells for $60,000 above the original $50,000 manufacturer sticker price. This truck belonged to a television station out of North Carolina so no rust and it was regularly serviced by a fleet leasing company. This means that maintenance was performed as prescribed by the dealer and that all mechanical equipment such as tires, batteries and the like are in top condition. This truck was just taken out of service by the network and has never been privately owned or used. The equipment that has been installed is too valuable to simply strip out for re-purposing as a camper or work vehicle. This truck Is best used as a media production rig. Included is a full electrical infrastructure with exterior 220 connections and 110 service throughout the cab. There is a generator as well as electric fuses, switching and auxiliary batteries. This vehicle originally had a broadcasting mast that has been removed but much of the hydraulic infrastructure remains. The original broadcast mast cable is also included in the sale. Standard AV racks for all production infrastructure are intact as well as an editing desk. The ladder and structural roof rack are top-of-the-line and the cabin comes with a roof mounted A/C system. With 141,456 miles, this diesel truck with an automatic transmission has hundreds of thousands of miles remaining on the drivetrain. This is the shorter high top with a 144 inch wheelbase and dual rear wheels. All the glass is good and the doors and windows lock and function as they should. The only body damage is above the driver door as illustrated in the pictures. There is light scoring of the metal with no puncture. Large custom built vanity with storage and countertop for cooking. Bed with custom mattress that can comfortably fit two people. Has cabinets under counter top and also plenty of storage under the bed that could be made into more drawers for outdoor gear if desired. Insulated with closed-cell spray foam insulation (R 6.5 per square inch). Aesthetic touches include wood paneling, drapes for privacy and custom made seat covers. Has been more than reliable on all our cross country trips. Selling because we are getting ready to make a big move and simply need to liquidize some of our assets in order to start in a new place.
