We are selling because we have bought a brand new Fisker Karma with only 200 miles on it. Car has been serviced at Evolution Autosports in Philly. Joe Ferrante (FiskerPhilly), the Fisker guru has looked after it since it was new. All necessary upgrades have been made. Originally this car sold for over $120,000 and is one of the most gorgeous and unique cars EVER built. Current mileage is 58,000 miles and we are driving this car a few days a week on Sunny days. It is the most gorgeous sedan we have ever owned and the most technological car we have ever driven. We have been driving this car every week and the car is in great condition in every way. All the electronics work perfectly, car switches in and out of sport and stealth mode perfectly. The engines and batteries are flawless. History & DescriptionThe Fisker Karma is something unique and brand new. This car is incredibly exciting. It really is a breath of fresh air in an automotive industry that has gone stale.Just look at the lines of the Fisker Karma and check out its unique curves. The designer of the Fisker Karma also designed the BMW Z8 featured in the James Bondmovie, “The World is not enough"in 1999.Henrik Fisker is a Danish born designer and entrepreneur born in 1963. A few of his design accomplishments include, the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9 and the Vantage V8, BMW'S 1st SUV, the X5, The Karma Fisker, the world's 1st premium plug-in hybird and the Benetti-Fisker 50 meter SuperYacht.Fisker was awarded Time Magazine's 50 best inventions in 2011 and People's award in 2015 as "World's 1st Premium plug-in hybird.Electric power and gasoline powered drive train, twin electric engines with 402 HP and 960 foot pounds of Torque drive the rear wheels. Between 2011 thru 2012 Fisker built almost 2000 cars....unfortunately nearly 400 cars were destroyed while sitting on the docks in Newark, N.J. by Hurricane Sandy. It is very unusual to see an EcoChic on the market and these cars are very rare in this interior/exterior combination. FINANCIAL WOES BUT WITH AN EVENTUAL HAPPY ENDINGFacing serious financial problems, Henrik Fisker resigned as CEO in March of 2013 and the assets were sold to China's largest supplier of automotive parts, Wanxiang for $149.2 million dollars. In September of 2015 the Company was renamed Karma Automotive and the Fisker-Karma was renamed the Karma-Revero in 2016.The manufacturing plant was moved to California where production resumed in 2018.Over a year ago Karma listed 17 dealerships in North America, 14 in the U.S. and 3 in Canada. Many of the parts used on the Fisker Karma and the Karma Revero are interchangeable and any Karma dealer will be happy to service a Fisker Karma.The U.S. department of energy reported that Fisker had spent $1.3 billion in taxpayer and venture capital money, or $660,000 for each car it sold. Starting and driving the Fisker-Karma can be described in two words-PURE JOY! Under the hood, the Fisker looks like a conventional car, with a GM-sourced 260-hp direct-injection turbo four tucked in. But this portion of the powertrain terminates at the generator, a place where you’d usually see a torque converter. Even the exhaust exits in front of the cabin. Inside, the dashboard cowl mimics the hood’s salacious curves, and faux suede or eco-conscious leather covers nearly every surface. A pyramid-shaped nodule in the center console serves as the push-button gear selector. A pedestrian-warning sound warbles, flying-saucer style, outside the car.At startup, the Fisker rolls in all-electric stealth mode. Pull the left steering-wheel paddle to engage sport mode, which fires up the engine to provide juice to the twin rear motors, providing a total of 402 horsepower. Zero to 60 comes in a fleet 5.9 seconds. quarter-mile in 14 seconds.The Fisker Karma weighs 5383 pounds, 442 more than a Porsche Cayenne S. The Fisker stops and turns like a sports sedan with a 170-foot 70-to-0-mph braking perform­ance, 0.89 g of cornering grip, and a 43-mph trip through our slalom test—nearly as fast as a BMW M5.The batteries lower the center of gravity to 18.5 inches, aiding in the Karma’s flat cornering attitude. There’s a solidity to the chassis. You feel the road-hugging weight from the driver’s seat. The Fisker crests hills like it’s trying to drive through them, without any apparent float; road imperfections are only manifest through the steering wheel.In the front seats, the Karma provides comfort to outlast the 300-mile driving range and the keyless ignition makes it easy to use along with the easy access option. Its complexity and pure-EV capability make the Karma unique, and its EV-mode efficiency has no equal among luxury cars.
