1997 Ford Econoline E-150 Camper van I am selling this camper van. I have owned it since 2007 and I am the second owner of this van. It has a 5.4 liter motor V8 Triton. This vehicle has been well maintained on schedule with oil changes, tune ups and services. It has 119,700 miles on it. It has two K and N air filters and 1 extra air filter. It is has Bridgestone Dueler tires that are 2 1/2 years old with a lot of tread.It has Eagle Alloys Wheels. It has a 2" lift, new shocks, and heavy duty springs. It has a custome exhaust system. The van has a mini fridge in the front. It can tow a trailer and is set up for trailer brakes. It has front and rear ac. There is 30 gallon water tank under the bed, there is a small grey tank underneath the van. You would need to power up the pump electrically yourself. It has a VHS player and a microwave. The van a built in gps unit. It also comes with a lot of storage room with cabinets and drawers. The van inlcudes an outside solar shower. Comes with two kayaks and oars. The van has a storage area for tubs and bikes. Bike are NOT included. The only problem with the van is the frotn cargo door latch. it can be easily fixed by removing the panel. This is a one owner that we purchased from a local municipality where it was extremely well taken care of and very lightly used. It was kept on a PREVENTATIVE Maintenance regimen. Fluids were checked daily and always changed on time. All scheduled services were also preformed when required. This trucks condition is a testament to the way it was treated. It was not beat on and runs and drives 100%. Garage kept and neatly used, this is a once in a lifetime unit.Don’t miss out , this is a 20 year old truck that is like new! This van was used 3 days a week to transport inmates from the courthouse to the county jail less then 10 miles down the road. When it was not being used it sat in the sally port (garage) underneath the courthouse. This has allowed it to remain rust and rot free. Very simply put this thing Looks and Runs PERFECT!!! You will not find another truck like this anywhere ever again!!! They just do not exist anymore. There may be others out there but they either have a ton of miles or are complete rust buckets! Let me thoroughly describe the van as best as I can and I will go over every area it's new owner would want to know about. It is equipped the International 7.3 POWERSTROKE OHV Diesel engine. The best wengine ever made in any heavy duty passenger vehicle. They have been documented to go over 1 million miles helping it secure the moniker "The Million Mile Motor". You don't have to take my word for it , if your not already familiar with the 7.3 , ask your favorite mechanic or do a quick google inquiry. These enginese simply go forever and are super low maintenance so finding one with decent miles or finding one in a vehicle that is not a complete rust bucket is getting almost impossible. Also very important is the fact that this truck was never used to plow snow, or spread salt. #1 Engine : The engine fires right up with a quick turn of the key and has no trouble starting even in cold temperatures. It runs smooth and sound and doesn't make any odd noises or blow any white smoke out of the exhaust. No blow by. CThere are no leaks of any kind and the temperature and oil pressure stay normal even after running for hours. Engine oil is fresh and clean and at factory recommended level. Antifreeze seems fine and at a good level with no evidence of any debris or clumps in the coolant. #2 Transmission: The transmission shifts super smooth through all of its gears. There is no banging or thumping into gears. The van does not "bang" when selecting gears and going from park to drive or drive to reverse ETC. Transmission fluid is clean and clear , at a normal level and doesn't have any "burning" smell to it. #3 suspension : The suspension on the van sits high and strong and does not feel worn out. It handles well on unpaved roads and suspension appears to be operating normally and in good order. #4 Brakes : The brakes operate 100% as they should. The brake pedal does not sink low and has a nice grab. The truck doesn't shake or pull when using the brakes at any speed. Brakes are not brand new , but definitely operate fine and do not need to be changed at this point. #5 Tires : The tires on the vsn will pass an inspection and appear to be newer (all 4) still have the tiny new tire nubs on the side walls. #6 A Exterior cosmetic condition : The cosmetic condition of this truck and the Diesel engine is what makes it stand out from the rest of the good running vans and trucks listed on eBay. The van is rot free. Floor panels ,rockers tand rocker supports are rock solid. The paint shines bright and it does not have any dull spots or peeling clear coat. There is no major damage or scratches of any kind. There is absolutely no rust on the Body of this truck. Most used trucks have rust issues with rocker panels/ supports , the doglegs and door bottoms. That is not the case with this baby. . The undercarriage is in great condition. Again, We didn't cover anything up with cheap spray paint or canned undercoating. What you see is exactly what you get and we felt it was important to show the great condition of this van and there was no need to "cover" anything up. #6 B : interior cosmetics: The interior of this rig is in super great condition for this year and mileage. There were no rips or tears in the seats or headliner and the and all interior options work 100% as they should. Heat blows hot and the air blows cold. Defrost and radio operate fine. All gauges work including fuel. There is no cracked or chipped glass. There are no cracks or big scratches in the dash and due to municipality rules, there was no smoking or pets allowed in this unit so it is odor and stain free. I can honestly say I have described this truck to the best of my ability and I stake my 10 years of solid feedback on all my descriptions. That being said , we do still recommend that potential buyers inspect the vehicle BEFORE buying. If you are out of state , we will go out of our way to send you extra pictures and even videos of the van starting/ running and drivinglll upon request. There are also 3rd party inspection companies in the area that will inspect the vehicle for you and give you a full unbiased report card. Even though this is one of the cleanest and nicest units I've had in awhile, it is still 20 years old and does have some amount of use and wear and because of age no warranties are available, don't expect a brand new truck and we won't have any problems.These township vehicles get extremelly well taken care of since day 1. The Truck has never been in any major damage and has a clean title. I said it before and I'll say it again, this truck is absolutely amazing and it's next owner will definitely not be disappointed. If you really like this unit I suggest buying it now. These trucks when they are this clean never make it more then a day or two before being sold, BUT this one right here is special!! The 15 passenger vans are Extremely RARE with the 7.3 and they get gobbled up QUICK!!! Whenever im lucky enough to get my hands on a low mileage 7.3 van , i want to keep it and that's true with this one more then ever. I already have a nice 7.3 powered Excursion and a Cummins Power ram and a Chevy Diesel van lol! i cant become a collector when i do this for a living so im going to let someone else enjoy this baby! .
