I bought it from a new car dealership I do business with where it came in on trade on a new car. They called me to buy it as they know I have a collection of classic cars and I appreciate clean, low mile, hard to find low production cars that are collectible and going up in value every year they get older. Ford made the S/R to compete with the civic SI and Neon ACR. The S/R is derived from the term "street racer" These come with a lot of upgrades/add ons over the normal ZX2. The production was very low, I believe it was around 2100 units or so. Too much stuff to list as to what separates these from the run of the mill zx2, best you google it and see what makes these collectible and so much fun to own and drive. This car moves, it zips down the highway and has lots of power. The 5 speed upgraded clutch works great in all gears and the engine runs very well and strong. all of the power options including the sunroof are working great. Tires look good as well as the wheels. This car is just a blast to drive. Cosmetically this escort looks really nice and sharp. The yellow paint shines really well. The S/R badges and stickers are still there. I did not see any rust anywhere and the underside looks clean. The interior looks healthy as well and taken care of. No signs of smoke use etc. Best to watch the video and check out all of the pics etc. Really a nice clean car. This car is a 2 owner car, spent life down in georgia before the previous owner came up here. There were no accidents reported.The miles on this escort S/R are 108 k which means that it was driven around 6700 miles per a year.This car comes with a clean and clear title.
