2000 Ford Excursion XLT 6.8L V-10 4-Speed Auto Transmission. Clean title strong motor 2 owner excursion. The mileage is a little high (275) but the motor is good for a lifetime. Bought the vehicle with the intention of fixing it up to perfection but need a down payment for a house. The rear driver's side wheel in the picture is just the spare and the matching stock wheel has a new tire on it. The seats aren't in the best shape but they are heated. The bumper and passenger side fender have been hit and some of the rockers have rust, the parking brake cable just snapped so I will be replacing that before anyone purchases it. The undercarriage is NOT rusty; it had been sprayed. The truck has never had a tuner on it. Selling it as is. When it was delivered the hauler actually got his 3500 Cummins stuck in the mud and buried it to the axles and this excursion pulled it out with a Jeep and a mustang on the trailer with it, so we know it pulls really well. I'm really sad to let this truck go but I'm sure someone with a large family and something to haul could use it more than I would. I also have a list of improvements with pricing and links for someone who would like to repair this for a little money. I use a great shipping company so if needed I would be happy to help with that. Welcome to Auto South Inc., today we are selling this rare 7.3L Ford Excursion! We have had this truck for just over 6 months. We have been using this truck for vacations over that time. We have kept the truck serviced the entire time and have experienced no issues other than an ABS sensor going bad within the past hundred miles. Part of our family has moved so it no longer makes sense for us to travel together. Before firing off those anxious questions please read full description, I have included many specifics. This Excursion is in great running condition. The truck fires right up even on the coldest mornings. It runs smoothly from a cold start and continues so until at full operating temperature. The truck shifts through all gears timely and smoothly. This Excursion, having the 7.3L International PowerStroke Turbo Diesel and 4WD, has plenty of power and could pull many trailers with ease. This makes it great for pulling a boat to the lake for the weekend, the jet skis to the beach, motorcycles to the mountains.. I think you get my point. This is Excursion is the perfect adventure mobile. The truck was first sold new in Colorado but only spent the first year of its life there before being moved to Mississippi in 2001. The truck has been in the South East ever since which allowed it age well without rusting. We purchased the Excursion from a woman whose husband had passed and no longer wanted the truck for herself. The truck had 309,000 miles on it at the time we bought it and we have put around 16,000 miles on it. The truck appears to sit a bit higher than some other Excursions and I am not sure if that is because this one is a 7.3L Diesel and 4WD or if it has been raised a couple inches. If the truck was lifted it looks to be a fully upgraded leaf spring set and it appears factory. The truck rides great all the way through highway speeds. We fitted the Excursion with a set of 35/12.50/20 Toyo MT's when we purchased it. The tires have approximately 40-50% tread left and are worn very evenly. We also updated the wheels to a 20" King Ranch wheel from a later model Ford truck. This gives the Excursion great eye appeal while keeping a clean factory look. The tires do scrub a bit when turning sharply but this can easily be avoided by being conscious of it. We also replaced the factory radio with a new Kenwood model that features bluetooth and hands free. This is nice for trips allowing everyone to get a chance to play their tunes. It also makes for a safer hands free operation of your phone. This truck will comfortably seat 8 and all of their luggage. It makes for a great family road trip car to the beach or the mountains. Since we have had the truck we have been running Shell Rotella 15W-40 and changing the oil every 3,000-4,000 miles. This oil incorporates cleaning agents to help clean engine internals from gunk and soot build up. I have a video of the truck from a cold start up and an exterior walk around. I have a huge folder from the previous owner of maintenance and repairs(10 + years worth). no oil leaks or any issues. maintained at my local ford dealership. TITLE IN HAND, CASH IN PERSON AT MY LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT OR BANK ONLY. following accessories have been added pro comp leaf spring lift 4" with pro comp shocks front and back also dual steering stabilizer warn front hubs afe cool air intake mbrp exhaust(very quite) with black tip super chips plug and play tuner 35" nitto trail grappler tires %60 tread fuel 20" deep lip wheels led lights in interior, headlights, tag lights 2007 front grill and headlights kenwood cd player, speakers in all doors  hellwig front a rear sway bars viper alarm system all fluids from the front to the back of vehicle all changed within last 10,000 miles also has factory added heated front seats  rear differential cover by trickflow Window tint Vent visors Husky all weather floor Mats front,middle,back and rear cargo area I also have the factory wheels if wanted. all performance mods were for better fuel economy and driveability (not a speed demon its a giant schoolbus). outside has only a few rock chips in paint otherwise paint is almost perfect(NO clear coat flaking or coming off). Interior is almost perfect seats have very minor wear. front passenger seat has a 1inch tear in lettering at top of head rest. ac is ice cold and the heat is burning hot. Everything works on this excursion as it should. fresh oil change from ford, trucks needs nothing.
