1996 Ford F250. Crew cab, short bed. 7.5L 460 engine. Automatic transmission. Manual 4x4 with locking hubs. 120,500 miles. Power door locks and power windows on all 4 doors.Air conditioning works great.This truck runs and drives beautiful. It goes down the road perfect, no pulling or shaking. Very tight steering and suspension. Although I am not the original owner its easy to tell this truck was well maintained and cared for. It has never seen salt, it was purchased out west and shipped to my friend in MA, then to me in NH. It is absolutely rust free. The paint has blemishes and there is a rather large dent/scrape on the front right fender. The paint has some clear coat peeling but overall not bad for 23 years old. The plastic chrome plated trim bezels have some bubbling. The REAR power locks dont work but you can manually lock and unlock the doors, i was told the actuators need to be replaced. Both fuel tanks and gauges work and give an accurate reading. This truck gets compliments just pulling it out of the garage to rinse the dust off! For sale: 1996 Ford F250 XLT The truck has 248000 miles on it, but the engine and transmission have 5000 miles on a complete rebuild. The drive line is worth more than the truck. Truck is reliable transportation and pleasant to drive. The body is rust free with usual scuffs of a 23 year old truck. One side has a rattle can paint job where my son ran afoul of a mailbox. There are a couple chips in the windshield and some cracks in the interior. The guy at the parts counter was nice enough to pre-wire the passenger window motor for me. Unfortunately, he wired it backwards. On that side, up is down and down is up. A problem I figured I'd fix the next time I needed to remove the door panel; that hasn't happened yet. The headlights are an after-market set that work very well (much better than the stockers), but I can't get the high beams to come on. Thankfully, they're not needed. There is a fault in the EVAP system that created a vacuum when driving for long trips. I made the gas caps vented and the problem is solved, but on hot days, when the tank is full and fuel expands, there is some leakage. It is an old truck. It has expected squeaks and rattles, but is an honest truck with expected scars from use. Tires are reasonably new with a few thousand miles on them. Shock absorbers are new. Headliner is new The diy bedliner works well, but not as well as a rhino lining. Every year, I purchase an aerosol can of the product and touch up any spots where I caused a scrape (It is a truck, after all.). There are fifth wheel rails installed and can be removed or left in. The truck has been pulling a 4700 pound trailer 2 or 3 times a year for the past two years. This is what necessitated the rebuild of the engine and transmission. While we have towed with it a few years, I've never towed to the mountains or gone more than two hours from home with the trailer. I know I'm taking a hosing on the truck. I've got over $8000 in the truck, including purchase price, but my wife is looking at a new trailer, and that will mean a more capable truck. I've tried to be honest with the truck and I know I'm asking more than book value, but I believe it's worth more than most other 23 year old 3/4 ton Fords.

New tires &spare 285-65-R16. trailer brake controller, AC works great to cool you off. Heater puts out hot air. Tall aluminum topper on back with built in queen size bed frame and custom slider for storage goodies. Nothing wrong with this truck you can get in it and drive to New York if you want. Has over 20 gallons of fuel in the tanks. 1 tank almost full the other 1 on 1/4 . The tanks are 19 gallon I believe.
