This is a contractor's dream truck. This F-350 was outfitted with the top of the line stake bed with custom overhead adjustable rack, locking tool boxes and 3000 pound Waltco liftgate all of which was hardly used. It has the legendary 460 big block engine with automatic transmission with O/D. It is a dual rear wheel 1 ton pickup. It also has a towing package that is custom made to swing out of the way of the lift gate when it is being operated. It was outfitted to be a Hollywood movie set truck originally and was brought to Lake Havasu City, AZ by a retired movie director to help with his move. It was used sparingly after that and then purchased by a retired rancher from Paulden, Arizona who's son lives in Lake Havasu City and knew of the truck. The rancher purchased the truck in 2011 and put just over 2000 miles on it over that period of time so it was no used much and mainly just to go into town to get feed for the animals. I purchased the truck from the rancher to assist in moving my business and it performed flawlessly. It has 6 brand new tires from Discount Tire, brand new fuel injectors, new cap, rotor and plugs. It runs good but has the very common exhaust leak on the driver's side that these 460's so often have. It quiets up when it warms up and hasn't bothered me to the point of getting it looked at yet. AC is cold and the heater is hot. All power windows and door locks work except the passenger's rear door which does not actuate and has to be manually locked or unlocked. Does not leak any fluids or smoke. It has never been smoked in. The paint and body are in excellent condition and are all original. It was always parked in a covered parking place. When you look at this truck it looks like it was really never used. The paint on the stake bed and rack system is not even worn or scratched as you would expect from a typical 22 year old work truck. The paint on the lift gate is the same, almost like new. Looks almost like it just rolled off the factory showroom. It's truly in amazing condition. No rust or corrosion of any type on this truck. The truck has never towed anything. This is a lot of truck for the money and will be an excellent rig for many years to come and is so versatile with the flat bed, stake bed, rack and lift gate. It is one of the most comfortable riding and driving trucks I've ever owned and I am confident whoever buys this truck will NOT be disappointed with it. Please ask any questions before bidding. A family workhorse for many years that we're sad to see go. Carried horse trailers cross country and 20,000lb food trailer with no problem. A heavily upgraded truck that starts with the $3000 Banks Sidewinder Turbo 7.3L Indirect Injection. This system was installed approximately 20k miles ago. Since used for pulling, 5th wheel brackets and trailer brake control system were installed. Transmission fan also installed. The front and rear ends are slightly lifted. Noticeable positive front camber to ensure a smoother ride when loaded. THE BAD... The body is in fair condition (looks great at a distance). Slight rust on both front fenders (pictured). Rear bumper has been dented (pictured). Over the past year the truck has seen little use due to being replaced. First and foremost the engine starts in any weather. Sounds great and runs smoothly outside of a small fan belt wind at idle... So the bad is pretty much isolated to the transmission. After a couple months of rough gear changes it finally gave out 2 weeks ago and would no longer move in drive. Reverse, 1st and 2nd will still move the truck. The truck was looked at by our mechanic and the transmission will need to be replaced. Unfortunately we aren't looking to replace this as the sell of this vehicle was inevitable.
