I am listing our 1996 Ford truck, F-350 XLT. It has 39,300 miles. These are the original miles. I am the third owner. To clarify, it was purchased by the original owner, and it was used to primarily haul the family toys. After the kids grew up, the father passed it on to his son. I purchased it from the son. I purchased it with the thought that I would use it to haul our classic cars to car shows. That has never occurred. The truck is equipped with the 460ci V8 engine. It has an automatic transmission with electric activated overdrive. It runs very smoothly with a lot of power, as you would expect form the large V8 with low miles. The temperature remains constant and in the expected factory temperature range. It is equipped with the Kelsey electric trailer braking system as well. It has remarkably little to no road noise in the cab. The truck is equipped with: power windows, power steering, which has the tilt function, power locks with the factory remote. It has the driver's power seat. Both front seats have the "Lumbar" feature and work. The air conditioning has been recently serviced and blows cold. The heater and defroster work properly as well. The cruise control works well. There has been an upgraded radio with amplifier that is Bluetooth capable. The truck is equipped with the factory alarm. It has the two fuel tanks for extended trips. The exterior is in very nice shape with the paint being original with very minute road chips. You have to be really looking to find any. The bed has a factory installed liner. It also has a lockable toolbox in the bed just behind the cab. This truck gets a lot of compliments. The interior is as clean as you would expect as well. There are no ware issues with the seats and there are no cracks in the dash. It has never been smoked in and retains a pleasant odor. This truck is sold as is, where is, with NO warranties expressed or implied in any way!I also have this truck listed locally, and reserve the right to remove it at any time without notice! Please do not contact me for the purpose of assisting me in selling it! Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I will assist with making the truck accessible for loading purposes. If you have any further questions, please send me your questions and/or you can call me at: 562-619-3884 PST. Please call during reasonable hours. Thanks for the interest! Frank

1996 Ford F-350 XLT 1996 Ford F-350 7.3L Diesel Lower Miles No Rust Centurion Type Conversion

1996 Ford F-350VIN: 1FTJW35F6TEA39121Listing Date: 2018/12/13
Price: $X,750.0Mileage: XX0,090Location: Austin,TX,USA

I bought this "old man truck", 2 owner (I believe that is correct), well maintained 1996 F-350 7.3L for a specific job. It has a 5 speed manual transmission and a leather Centurion type conversion with a large console, running boards, bug screen, windshield diesel, and even the fin/rear spoiler on the rear of the cab - the retiree package. There is zero rust on this truck and it made a 1500 mile trip prior to the maintenance without an issue. It does not leak, yes, there are "seeps", but it does not spot the driveway. The previous owner has a "log book" of maintenance, mileage, etc.... We did a ton of maintenance, new clutch, new tires, etc... as we were going pull the bed for a welding rig but a recent pipeline contract requires a shorter 4 wheel drive. Brand new heavy duty Luk Clutch Kit with single mass flywheel, literally just installed.6 new tires, changed fluids, and filters, new Ford cam sensor, brakes will shoot you through the windshield, etc....Motor runs strong, turbo spools up, 5 speed ZF manual transmission, very cold A/C and hot heat.Custom conversion with full leather interior, back seats reclines a little, driver’s seat has cracking and wear but the other seats are very nice. The rear seat has storage. Multi-disc CD player(it kicks out the CD cartridge but not sure how it works). The carpet is extremely clean as is headliner. No cracks in the dash.Power windows and locks , rear driver's side passenger door actuator does not open lock, must be unlocked manually. Aftermarket airhorn.Kenwood cd player with multidisc CD player. No rust, straight sheetmetalDually 8ft Long Bed, looks like it had a camper at some point from the brackets.Rear plastic simulators tire are included (tire shop did not put them on), one cap is missing.Dual Fuel Tanks, Running Boards, "aero" "old man Package with bug shield, visor, and a rear "fin/spoiler" on back of the cab, center console - there was likely a CB once mounted there so missing that part. Bed had a fifth wheel at some point and there is a plastic bed liner - see photos. The bad: rear driver’s door auto lock actuator is bad - works manually. The driver's seat has cracks and wear as seen in photos. The other seats are in great shape. The cruise control was working when it was driven 1500 miles to our shop but did not work the other day, guessing a vacuum line. The clear coat on the hood is deteriorating but I removed part of it and paint is fine underneath. I may try to have it finished being stripped if time provides. No mudflats. The bottom of the grill has a bend. Please see photos. I'm sure there are other imperfections, not trying to hide anything, I don't do that. There is normal wear of a 20 year old truck. It's a twenty year old truck I’m sure there are some other things, it’s not perfect but a solid truck with absolutely no rust and reasonably low mileage for a 7.3l diesel that’s been maintained. I have the previous owner’s log on maintenance, mileage, fuel, etc... Mileage maybe slightly higher but not much.I will happily answer questions through my friend listing this for me. I am no salesman so please ask questions for straightforward answers. My friend is listing this truck for less then we have in it but a more than fair price. Thanks Brian. This is a 20+ year old vehicle so no warranty is expressed or implied. Buyer is solely responsible for pickup/transporting this vehicle. If you buy this truck and want to fly in, the Austin Texas is close enough and a ride can likely be arranged. The vehicle/title will not be released until all funds clear.

1996 Ford F-350 XLT 1996 Ford F-350 XLT 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Dually Truck - No Reserve!

1996 Ford F-350VIN: 1FTJX35F5TEB00794Listing Date: 2018/12/13

Up for sale is my 1996 Ford F-350 XLT 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel (VIN: 1FTJX35F5TEB00794). I have replaced the truck with a newer F-350 and am ready to sell this one. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orHx0Orzyk0 I originally purchased this truck on 2/28/2014 with 227,304 miles on it. The previous owner had some service records of work done to the truck while he owned it:Glow plug solenoid (2/2013)Starter Solenoid (2/2013)Water pump & belt (8/2013)Injector control pressure sensor (1/2014)Fuel Filter (1/2014)Cam position sensor (2/2014) My primary goal for this truck was to use it to haul one of my race cars to events around the southeast on a small clamshell trailer. To support that mission, I decided to do a little work on the truck to make it better as a tow vehicle. After purchasing the truck, I added the following:-Reese Towpower Brakeman trailer brake controller and new wiring-Wix open air filter/intake pipe (WIX Filter - #46637)-Diamond Eye Performance 4" turbo-back exhaust (Part Number: K4307A-RP / http://www.diamondeyeperformance.com/product_info.php?products_id=184) ($279)-TS Performance 6 position chip (https://www.shoptsperformance.com/collections/7-3l-chip/products/ts-performance-1180402-performance-switchable-6-position-chip-for-95-97-ford-7-3l-automatic-powerstroke) ($250) I typically run it on the +50hp or +75hp towing setting. -New projector headlights to replace the aging stock units-New stereo (JVC KD-X310BT digital media head unit, four Polk Audio DB651 6.5" 2-way coaxial speakers, Boss Audio PH4.600 4-channel amplifier w/all new wiring - supports tri-power mode if you want to add subwoofer(s)) On a longer trip to Pennsylvania in May of 2015, at mileage 235,738, the transmission failed while driving home through Virginia. Shenandoah Ford in Front Royal, VA installed a new transmission (Ford Part: https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts/ford-automatic-transmission-assy_f6uz-7000-farm.html) at a cost of $3250.52. The last 10k miles have been uneventful and the truck now has 245,426 miles on the odometer. I replaced both batteries and the positive battery wiring in June 2016. The front tires were replaced earlier this year with Firestone Transforce HT LT215/85R16 tires. The truck includes two bedliners - one is a plastic drop-in and the other is a rubber mat designed to fit in the bed. Both have cutouts for the hidden gooseneck hitch in the truck bed. Also included are two brand new rear replacement fenders from Wallis, part numbers JW-11 and JW-12-2 ($725 new - http://www.wallisduallyfenders.com/ford-f350-dually-fenders-1980-97-425ea/) that have never been installed. I also have a set of used Dee Zee diamond plate-style side steps that will be included with the truck but I never installed them. Other notes:-General scuffs/dings/chips in line with a well used truck of this age, please refer to photos and video for details - if you need any other photos, descriptions, or videos of anything please let me know.-Everything original on the truck is 22 years old and anything rubber/seals are degraded as expected. Oil drips from around rear main seal area, see undercarriage photo. -White smoke at startup and sometimes when running under load, see video.-A/C does not blow cold-Rear view mirror fell off and is included, but needs to be re-glued to the windshield for reinstallation. -Interior is fair, there are a couple of cracks on some of the interior panels, some stains, headliner sagging in spots/tears, low cost Walmart-sourced seat covers were added after I purchased the truck-Fuel filling can be slow sometimes, more so on the rear tank (apparently this is somewhat common for this age of F-350 and the fix is to replace the rubber hoses from the filler neck to the fuel tank)-Front fuel tank sender seems wonky and does not register/show correct level at times-Based on two consistently located streaks on the inside of the windshield that appear after a hard rain, I believe there is a small leak in one of the top cab lights/openings on the roof-Rear dually fenders damaged by previous owner, replacements included but not installed/painted.-Rear bumper hit at some point before I owned it, see photos. Overall, despite some visual issues like the rear fenders/dings/scratches, I've really enjoyed this truck. She is rough around the edges, but the 7.3L diesel engine has always been a strong choice in this year range and with the intake/exhaust/chip it breathes more freely and runs better than stock. It's been a great workhorse for me, pulling the trailer and the occasional Home Depot/Lowes run. The replacement transmission from Ford has under 10k miles on it with plenty of life left. With a little work, this should make for a great work truck for the next owner. Sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Full payment and pickup must be made within 7 days of auction end. Please let me know if you have any questions, need clarification, or photos/videos of parts of the truck. Please review the walkaround video for more detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orHx0Orzyk0
