Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is my own 2005 Ford Freestyle SEL AWD. This car is different than most of the vehicles I auction because I have owned this vehicle since 2014. It has been used by my ex-wife (that's right ladies, I'm single now) for the last few years. I would rate the exterior of this Freestyle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in light green and gray two tone over matching gray leather interior. The greeen finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Freestyle, the only damage worth noting is the visible damage on the left side of the front bumper from when she tried to drive through a pile of snow and discovered that it was mostly ice. Aside from that, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Freestyle. The body lince are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present. Aside from the aforementioned fog light, all of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of Kumho tires that are new as of this summer and have maybe a few thousand miles on them, if that. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Freestyle to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear for the age and mileage of this Ford. The power windows, locks, seat and mirros al work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and works properly. The heater works well and the air condtioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The only bad thing I can say about the interior is that the fan to the HVAC system sometimes will stop working for a bit...and then start again. Rear passenger room is ample and the 3rd row is easily accessed via the second row seats folding down and flipping forward. The cargo area is spacoius and clean. When not in use, the 3rd row easily folds flat to open up a huge amount of storage capacity. The original owner's books are included. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. These are great, great vehicles that are extremely versatile. Mechanically, this Freestyle is in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. There are no leaks that I am aware of and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking are good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and makes good power. I purchased this Freestyle in 2014 with 165k miles. The last 42k miles have been an absolute pleasure. I have personally maintained this vehicle with nothing ever being neglected...ever. I run Mobil 1 oil and good filters. The tires are new as of this summer. The alternator and battery are just over a year old. This car has been absolutely amazing. It has never, ever left us down and I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. It was a one owner vehicle when I bought it off of the Ford dealership where it was traded back in on a new Ford. Since I run on dealer plates and never register my vehicles, it is still technically a one owner vehicle. The automatic transmission enagages smoothly and works properly with zero issues...at all...ever. The AWD system works properly with no issues. This car has no warning lights...at all...ever. This Freestyle has been 100% reliable. It has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of May, 2019. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
