Or at least it's the one that has dominated in the utility category for so many people for so many years. This one could be called a "Survivor" because it appears it is still largely original and it has plenty more miles to offer its next owner. This truck can haul a pile of people, haul a load, or do both at the same time. Check it out. White is...a good color for both a traveling or a work truck. It keeps the heat gain down and is easy to keep looking clean. Give it a quick wash if you get some mud on it and its ready for another adventure. This truck is all about form following function. Quad headlights provide great lighting up front. Drip rails over the doors keep you from getting wet when you open the door in the rain like on so many of the new cars. Running boards are wide and strong providing a solid step up into the cab. Out back the tailgate has a roll down window and when you drop the gate, you have great access to the back. After you unload or set up, it can be a table, or seating, or a workbench. When you head for the game, (or the job site), your stuff is safe and secure inside. There is a heavy-duty receiver for towing and it has trailer wiring for lights and brakes set up already. Inside you will find a comfortable cloth interior with a serious command center for the driver, and comfort for the passengers. The driver has all the window switches at his finger-tips with a real deal map pocket just below it. There are big 'ol mirrors on both sides of the truck so you can keep track of what's around you in traffic, even when you are towing, and the tilt wheel is nicely adjustable for parking lot maneuvering or long-distance cruising. A Panasonic AM/FM/CD player is there for your listening pleasure and a monster console has cup holders in the front and a console as big as a small cooler! Your passengers will be comfortable in the back seat which is as big as a limo with crushed velour upholstery and rear A/C system to keep them cool. The seat is split 60/40 so that two people can sit with long cargo on the side, or the other way around. Lots of cargo and room for one more. Pop the hood and you will find the workhorse powerplant that makes this truck so capable. It's a big block 454 cubic inch motor that makes big power down low and does it without a lot of drama. It looks like the front end may have been replaced as the paint does not match up. The A/C compressor has been removed and the lines plugged. It has power windows and locks and all appear to function properly. The exterior has dents scratches and rust all the way around. The interior is very dirty and stained with ripped seats.

TOTALED - SALVAGE TITLE GREAT PARTS TRUCK LOW MILEAGE SUPER-CHARGED V8 7.4 liter 4WD GMC SUBURBAN K2500 !!! Still runs and drives !!! I’m selling a totaled 1997 GMC Suburban as is!The mileage is correct! I am the second owner and this powerful monster we call Big Blue and she still has TONS of life left in her and needs a new good home. She has all the upgrades this truck could get back in 1997. All installed by a company called Ultrasmith, based out of NY, unfortunately no longer in business.I am ASE certified mechanic and added a few more upgrades of my own during my time with her. I am no longer in the wrench turning business nor do I have the facility to get her back to work order. I hate to see the powertrain sit in my driveway when there is still much work for her to do, and its SUPERCHARGED!!!!The accident was back in July of 2018 and getting things sorted with insurance and the SALVAGE title is what kept this truck from being posted. Accident went like this; I was coming to a stop at a red light and the car behind me didn’t stop, rear ended me and caused me to hit the stopped car in front of me. My son and I walked away only disappointed in the negligence of the other driver, thank god! Big Blue fell on the sword for us that day and while the other 2 cars were not even close to drivable, Big Blue was. I drove her home like nothing happened. Obviously that’s not EXACTLY the case as why it’s up for sale right now. I did the engine reseal that comes with GM vehicles. If you don’t know the intake gaskets were trouble for years with almost/ all their engines, V6 and V8 that coolant would leak either in or out of the engine. Unfortunately it’s leaking again but only slightly and OUT of the engine. (photo on request) Back in 1997 upon buying the truck new the previous owner sent the truck to Ultrasmith and they added about $45,000 worth of upgrades and that 80% are still on the truck and in use. From the Supercharger to the DVD player and VHS….Yes, think back to 1997, they still had VCR’s and in works, all works, even the infrared earphones. TPMS system still works however the sensors are not installed in the current wheel tire set up. I have all the sensors and owners manual, very easy system. Other things include Bluetooth, USB, CD, stereo, (not pictured, flew out during the accident, but still played music while hanging there) Valentine Radar system, upgraded speakers throughout the truck and amp, Sun-roof was installed however it does not open, motor is NG. PIAA front driving lights and rear Reverse light. I feel this truck makes a fantastic part truck not just for the engine/ drivetrain but all the little things that can spruce up your aging ‘Burban. The leather seats are in great shape, wheels, tires w/ TPMS, even the SS brake lines can be reused. The interior wood trim is easily swapped. The Iron Bull bumpers are easily a $2600 upgrade to your rig, and these are banged up but that’s to be expected. FYI, the front bumper weighs about 300 lbs…. The front grill is custom as well.
