This car has automatic, air conditioning, AM/FM stereo CD with 67K actual original miles and a clean title. These cars are known for rusting badly, and as you can see in the pictures of this one, it's really clean. It has a few nicks in the front bumper that I can brush touch in about 3 minutes and a little peeling underneath the body rail on one side, which is also very easily fixable. So basically, the car is nearly rust free. All interested parties should come drive this car if they can cause you won't believe how nice it runs. The interior is exactly the way you see it, almost perfect. The body of the car is clean and original. The front end, brakes, transmission and engine are all in good shape. The convertible top is original and it will need a rear window. Or you can just buy a new convertible top on eBay for under $200 and have it installed. After 30 years, the plastic disintegrates. That's why the top is not like it was when it was new. The inside of the trunk on the car is all clean and solid, but for some reason the trunk key doesn't work. This is definitely a fun car to drive in the summer and according to other Geo Metro owners I spoke to, these cars get close to 40 MPG with the 3 cylinder engine. That's another reason why people love it so much. This is a rare car with the original sticker that came with the car showing all the options and the price when it was new and if you're the lucky winner of the car, it definitely won't take up much room in your garage. This car has never been exposed to rain or snow as long as the rear window has been broken. We are selling our 1992 Geo Metro Convertible, this was a gift from my wife's grandfather. We drove it once to get it home and it has sat ever since, with a battery it does start and run, the air is ice cold and everything seems to work, we have not tried to drive it more than in the drive way. It is a project that we know very little about. other than we want to get rid of it. I'm sure the mileage is 120K but the speedo only reads five places. This car seems to need very little to be a fun ride.On Mar-09-19 at 17:08:39 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE- We were cleaning the car today and the top started to split in the plastic rear window it also would not latch, I think with the colder weather and the age it has shrunk a little to the point that it will not fully close. Instead of breaking anything we decided to not try to close it any further and put it in the garage, leaving the top for the buyer to repair. Keep in mind this is a 27 year old car that hasn't been on the road since 2013, things like this happen. If you wish to retract any bids I'm sure we can make that happen, I am sorry for any inconvenience.
