I am selling my 2005 Honda Element EXThis versatile SUV needs absolutely nothing to be driven and enjoyed for all 4 seasons ahead.I am only selling because I have a bad hip, and the more I use the clutch, the sorer my hip gets.I hadn't driven a standard transmission vehicle in many years until I inherited this. It wasn't a problem for me physically years ago, but now it is unfortunately.This little buggy will make an awesome beach vehicle with the 4 wheel drive and all the room in the back for chairs, passengers, coolers or whatever else you need to bring.It's also a great vehicle for a handyman or housecleaner. It has so much room in the back because the seats swing out to the side or can be removed completely in less than 5 minutes. It has a hatchback like a minivan or SUV and also has a tailgate like a pickup truck. It even has 4 tie down points that pop out of the interior corners to secure cargo, equipment, stock or tools in the back. There is no plush carpet to worry about cleaning, since these wagons come with the "work truck" flooring that you can sweep or washout very easily.This car has 204k on it and climbing. (I do still use it about every other day because it is the best of my 4 vehicles as far as gas mileage goes. (19 MPG city, 22 MPG highway). It shifts perfectly, steers as straight as can be, doesn't sway, shake or rattle. Goes right down the road at 50-75mph like a new vehicle. Riding on 4 matching Hankook Dynapro 215/70/16 tires. (Plenty of tread life left, and no uneven wear whatsoever). These 4 cylinder Hondas are known to go to 300k with ease. I have had it since it had 194k on it and done nothing but 2 oil changes and put new wipers on it. It never needs anything. This is 1 family owned car. (3 different mature adults). It has never been abused or beaten on and always professionally maintained when necessary. I guarantee it to pass all Massachusetts safety and emissions testing too. If you can drive a standard transmission you will love this vehicle. There really isn't anything it can't do for a vehicle this size. I have put 4 bicycles in standing up in the back, I've towed my 5x8 utility trailer, I've toted around a step ladder and tools to little side jobs, and I've tailgated with friends down at Foxboro. I even drove it back and forth to the Super Bowl In Atlanta 2 months ago. It's just an amazing little SUV. Handles the snow with ease.My family has even camped in this thing before I got it, but I never have. There are no dents, no rust, no rot on the vehicle either. It's pretty comfortable to drive even though I'm 6'2", 250 lbs. (With the exception of clutching in my particular case). It has a great sounding factory stereo system with a factory subwoofer in the center of the dash. It has an auxiliary plug for an iPod, and a factory CD player. It has power windows, good a/c, good heat, has a rear pop-up sunroof. It has a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows and power door locks. Plenty of storage in the doors, glove compartment, dash and center console for drinks etc. It is also a clean vehicle, it has never been smoked in, and you won't find french fries and crumbs all around the interior. (Again, always adult owned, and it wasn't "lived in", just some camping years ago as I mentioned previously). There's not much more I can tell you about it.If you want good reliable transportation that will handle countless tasks, for a fair price, this is the rig for you.Please remember this is a STICK SHIFT. So after reading all of the above, you say to yourself "The miles are awfully high on this vehicle" and I say, that the average miles driven per year in America these days is 15k, and this is a 14 year old vehicle that will be 15 years old come October of 2019. If you agree with me, then the miles would equal 210k for a 14 year old vehicle and 225k for a 15 year old vehicle. The Kbb values in the picture here, include the current mileage and all the features and options listed with this particular Honda Element. This is flat out a reliable and dependable 4 season vehicle.
