It's been in the family for nearly 20 years! I leased it from brand new, then my family bought it (and have enjoyed the Prelude ever since). But it's time to make room in the driveway. The design is sleek, sporty and timeless - I believe this vintage of Prelude will be considered a Japanese classic. The Prelude starts and runs nicely but IT'S NOT CERTIFIED AND IS BEING SOLD "AS IS". It has recently passed emissions testing in Ontario. The body needs some work as there is rust in spots and minor dents. A Used Vehicle Information Package is available, and the vehicle has not been involved in any accidents. 1991 HONDA PRELUDE IN GREAT WORKING CONDITION. FOR SALE: 2001 Honda Prelude w/ 136k on the chasis The motor and transmission have been swapped from a 2001 Acura CL so now this Prelude is equipped with a J32A V6 motor and 5 speed Automatic Transmission which has all been B.A.R. (Bureau of Automotive Repair) legal with the correct stamps. Passes smog no problem. Every inch of the vehicle is unique along with the motor swap which makes it a 1 of a kind, only B.A.R. legal swap in California. I attached photos of the build sheet because it is just too much to list but there is over $25k invested into this car. The whole entire vehicle is wrapped Mint Blue/Green but the original color is Silver underneath. Car turns on and drives perfectly, no issues and gets so much attention every where it goes. Many modifications including a motorcycle gas cap with key, shaved door handles, custom tail lights, suicide hood, aftermarket wing, lowered suspension, intake and strut bar, full custom interior, Candy Paint, custom made Dayton wire wheels made specifically for this car, and also includes a full hydraulic set up that can be reinstalled if you wish to do so. The car is older and needs to have minor repairs done in order to restore it or change it to your liking. The door poppers no longer work and must be replaced for vehicle access. It needs a new battery as the one in it does not hold a charge. The sunroof on the internet is about $150.00 to replace. I personally would reinforce the suicide hood as the original bracket is rusting. All minor things that I just don't have the time to do. I was saving it for my daughter who is no longer interested and outgrew the process. Great vehicle for someone looking to have a great start to making something their own. The car can be maintained for daily driving or for show. The car was at the filming of 2 fast 2 furious and was an option for the lead pink car that Suki drove. The vehicle was not chosen because the pain couldn't be duplicated. During the making Paul Walker got in and signed the rear insert. Over the years his signature has faded quite a bit but it is still there and has been untouched. I just want the car to go to a good home where someone can enjoy it as much as we have.
