1992 Honda Prelude Si - Red HOT! I bought this car last year from the original owner, it's a pleasure to drive and is fun and zippy around town. I always wanted one of these when they first came out. This one came up for sale and I was surprised to find that it was an Si automatic since my wife doesn't like shifting. It has a fresh oil change and an extra Honda oil filter for the next in the trunk. This car is awesome all the way around, it has a set of matching Michelin tires, no tears or rips in the seats, A/C blows cold, heater hot, brand new floor mats, new battery last year. I don't know what else to tell you. It's an excellent car that will probably run forever if taken care of. The only flaws that I see are;power antenna doesn't worksome paint fade on mirrors and rear bumperit dings like the keys are in the ignition even when they aren't I drive it about 40 miles a day, so until I sell it the mileage will go up a little. You could probably drive this car home anywhere you want to go. I sold this car in a previous listing and the buyer backed out when he thought it was going to cost him thousands of dollars to get it back to Michigan. One of his concerns was the timing belt and if it has been replaced, I don't know for certain. I did go to the local Honda dealer and apparently they have changed the oil religiously since it was new.Since I want anyone who buys this car to feel confident about driving it home, I will have the timing belt replaced before it is sent off to its new home. 1990 Honda Prelude Si 4 wheel steeringB21 2.1L 4 cylinderIt is so fun to drive with the 4 wheel steering.The good!!!!New gates timing belt and water pump installed less than 500 miles ago by a honda technician.Automatic transmissionSunroof and flip up headlights work.Runs and drives great no check engine light or any other lights on.Just performed coolant service along with valve cover gasket set less than 500 miles ago!Its a rare car.Tires have about 85-90 % life.Interior looks brand new!The issues i would like to address....It has hale damage all over.The oem radio doesnt work.The idle air valve fluctuates the idle up and down while in park sometimes.The rear brakes have a scraping noise, most likely the rotors.Has some oil leaks that need to be addressed. Looks like oil pan gasket.The cruise control stopped working.AC NEEDS TO BE CHARGEDOverall! Its a great car let me know. local pickup only, cash due at delivery

Selling this Honda SiR BB6 Prelude that was imported from Japan in 2008 in to California. I am the 3rd owner of this car. I have a California Title and current registration. This car is registered like a normal car. All original Japanese vin numbers intact. Car is Completly stock. Drives like a normal car very comfortably. NO EXPENSES SPARED ON THIS PROJECT. LATE STAGE PROJECT. I AM THE 3RD OWNER. CLEAN TITLE.I have more than 15k invested in this project. I just don't have the time that I used to. Hate to sell but its time. Need to make room for a 2 year resto project that is coming home.I have a 2001 Honda Prelude w/ 150k miles on the body. Exterior is beautiful except a couple of door dings and small dents. Interior is mint. Undercarriage is MINT. This is a rust free example. Original owner was an old lady. Second owner was a meticulous dealership manager. I am picky as hell and like everything perfect.I bought in November and immediately realized it needed a motor. It received a 55k JDM Euro R motor and its mated LSD transmission. This is running the PCD ECU. My suggestion, get a new ECU and Hondata to get a tune. Runs well, slight lope from either IACV or Vacuum leak. Rear main seal on the motor was replaced during motor install as it had a slight leak from sitting before importing the motor. When it cold starts, it runs around 500 RPM and fully warmed runs 1k... the only CEL is for the IACV. I will include the original motor, ecu, and additional parts w/ purchase. Only problem with original motor is that cylinder 3 compression tests at 65PSI. Other than that, perfect candidate to resell or rebuild.When the new motor went in, the water pump and oil pump were replaced w/ new OEM parts.Still has power steering, heat, and great AC.All windows function including the sunroof.
