Not My First Rodeo… Just traded locally, here’s a super clean little Rodeo SE that got me excited as the miles and condition are a close ‘10’ but on the way home it fell out of high gear and unfortunately I don’t have any qualified to look at it for me but hey, it happens and at least it went on me. The V6 motor runs excellent, brakes and suspension are perfect, tires ride out well but show their age and there are no puddles underneath. The transmission has gears 1 and 2 but revs out of gear after that so you’ll tow it home to get it checked out. The interior is like-new with clean upholstery, perfect carpets, no bad odors, clean headliner and dash and all the power buttons work as they should. The body looks great too with shiny two-tone paint and there are no signs of rust on the body and the undercarriage is one of the cleaner ones you’ll find. There are scuffs and chips on the bumpers and a hairline crack on the front grill. The majority of our cars come from the local new car dealerships just as they are traded from their previous owners. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. As is the case with all our cars, we don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items.
