My beautiful 1997 Jaguar XK8 is for sale. Everything important works. I own several Jaguars and restoring them is my hobby. So, what's wrong? Not too much. The windshield washers need new hoses and the nozzles are plugged. Depending when the car sells, this might even get fixed. The liquid crystal display for the A/C temperature display is faded and hard to read. The controls work correctly. The cover over the convenience outlet, where I plug in my cell phone charger, is loose. I tried to fix it, but I guess I do not have the required skill. Now here's what is right. Everything else. Baby Blue, the car's nickname, has Fresh paint and ice cold A/C, which is critical in Florida. All electronics operate properly. The power convertible top works great, and the top is in great condition. The power windows, door locks, cruise control, power suspension, power outside mirrors, and power seats with 2-memories are all working as when brand new. Even the clock works and keeps accurate time. Over the years, I have replaced the harmonizer, tensioneers, ABS module, fuel tank float, water hoses, battery, brakes, and most everything else. Baby Blue would be a fabulous gift to your graduating daughter, your bride, or your mom. It's really not a guy color, but it always gets positive comments from all the ladies in shopping malls, restaurants, and even the supermarket.This has always been a FLORIDA CAR, and there is absolutely ZERO RUST. This 1997 Jaguar XK8 Coupe has a very good engine and transmission. It has 105,000 miles and it runs good. It has two check engine light codes P1637 and C1137 and both codes are ABS codes. The car brakes fine but will need a ABS module repair or maybe just clean the ABS wheel sensors. There's companies on Ebay that repair the ABS modules for under $100. The price that I have this car listed at reflects the work that it needs. It has good paint, good interior with some driver seat wear. It has a very good headliner. It does need some electrical work. The power windows and locks don't work. The drivers power seat works back and forth and up and down but the back rest doesn't work. The back rest is set at a normal position. All the lights work. It has cold a/c, good suspension and exhaust systems. It has a good body with no rust. The tires are matching and in very good condition. With a little work it will be a great car.
