This 2001 Yellow Jeep Cherokee 4-Door 4x4 Sport is awesome! I bought it about a year ago from a seller in New Jersey sight unseen and un-inspected (AS IS) and immediately ran into some issues upon delivery. I have worked for the past year fixing a lot of issues that it came to me with and I'm really happy with where this car is today! The odometer reads 46,000 (ish) miles but the engine had to be replaced after the lower radiator hose came off (due to the wrong clamps being used) and the original engine had to be replaced with a used engine that had a little less than 100,000 miles on it. My mechanic has done a ton of work on it including new brake lines, the engine replacement, the radiator and many hoses and clamps replaced. The front speakers are currently not working, but were replaced with brand new ones, so it's probably a stereo issue. Some other minor issues include: the ceiling liner is sagging a little bit above the driver seat and passenger seat, and there is some rust under the car. This car is running smoothly! Shipping from Maui to the Mainland is probably about $1,200 through MATSON or YOUNG BROTHERS shipping companies to Long Beach, CA and from there, shipping anywhere in the US is probably between $500 and $1,300 depending on where you're shipping it. A great 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport X J 4X4 AUTO 4.0 LITER. VERY CLEAN .We are selling the wifes jeep, that we owned for some time. Engine was replaced with one that had 43,000 with papers on it then we installed it, and now over 7k driven on it after install . At this we replaced alot of parts as well. Like all new rubber hoses, radiator, water pump, oil pump, battery, cleaning of fuel system including fuel filter mass air flow, intake cleaning. Has newer brakes front and rear, and windshield. o2 sensors, complete exhaust with cats oem parts about $2000 in that alone. Just installed 2 firestone front tires and come with the new for the back that needs installed. Will need one front wheel bearing some noise at times but dealer said it good with no play. I did have one wheel bearing installed last year thinking that it was the one, but wrong side. Great power and great shifting. Head liner will need glued, it drop down. And A/C will need looked at.worked lasted year but drops amps and makes belt noise if turned on at first turn of switch. Just a nice XJ with oil changed at 3,000 with mobil 1 and was just done. Was a second vehicle that used on trips.Also have extra parts as well including a set of rims,good orignal intake and radiator. Should make someone very happy. $100 due at sells end and cash or bank check at pick-up. Has a clear title as well. Thanks for looking at this ad.
