This is a very low mileage, mint one-owner Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Convertible. This Mini is Maxi fun! The original Mini introduced the then-radical and brilliant new front wheel drive architecture designed in the late 1950s for British Motor Corporation by Sir Alec Issigonis. The Mini revolutionized small car design world-wide. BMW acquired the Mini line in 1994 and set out to reengineer the car to precision German standards while preserving the iconic Mini architecture and personality. This Mini is the rare John Cooper Works performance model. Included on the JCWs is the upgraded 208 h.p. JCW turbocharged engine. The crisp-shifting Getrag 6-speed manual transmission contributes to the high "fun factor." A JCW Mini is very maneuverable, responsive, and a genuine kick to drive. The car looks as great as it drives. It is eye-candy, finished in deep Chili Red paint with a black top and Toffee leather seats with black welting . The dash and doors are a combination of Toffee and Black with tasteful aluminum trim. Accessories include chrome alloy wheels (the original Mini alloy wheels were chromed by CalChrome, the best in the business), twin chrome driving lights, and chrome hood scoop. A fussy buyer will be well pleased with the "near showroom condition" of the car. The body has never been damaged and is laser-straight. The paint is virtually flawless, reflecting the low mileage and storage in a heated garage. It has never been driven in the rain unless we were caught out. The exterior and interior looks like it did when we took delivery in October 2014. This Mini has no issues.
