Up for sale is a clean 1990 Mazda RX7. This vehicle came from South Carolina 4 years ago and has been stored inside since. It has a strong Rotary Non-Turbo Engine. No rust. I am selling it, because I can use the space. Brakes and tires are all good. It could use a new top, as it is the original. The car is not perfect, some dings, dents and worn paint. But it is clean driver, or a great candidate for a full restoration. 114,117 Miles. No trades, no low ball offers. I will take cash or paypal. It is an automatic. It is parked for the winter inside, but willing to see it go. It is on a battery tender and has fuel stabilizer added, but still may be a challenge to start after sitting. I've got a 1993 Mazda RX-7, w/79k miles, Twin Turbo, Automatic transmission. There's NO Loan/Lien on car, Clear Title in hand. Not interested in trades. Pros: New Greddy Intercooler, New Greddy Boost Controller, New Battery, 3 inch Apex Exhaust, New Sleek Headlights (still have originals), New 18" wheels and tires. Cons: Car starts and runs, but needs struts, larger injectors (car stutters sometimes under hard acceleration), oil/coolant/odometer gauge lights up and displays, then disappears. Heater works, a/c doesn't. It's never been in an accident, but passenger fender and drivers rear quarter panel have small dents. Sold As-Is. In that issue, Playboy declared the RX-7 to be the better of the two cars. It went on to win Playboy's Car of the Year for 1993. The FD RX-7 also made Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 1993 through 1995, for every year in which it was sold state-side. June 2007 Road & Track proclaimed "The ace in Mazda's sleeve is the RX-7, a car once touted as the purest, most exhilarating sports car in the world." After its introduction in 1991, it won the Automotive Researchers' and Journalists' Conference Car of the Year award in Japan. Handling in the FD was regarded as world-class, and it is still regarded as being one of the finest handling and the best balanced cars of all time. The continued use of the front-midship engine and drivetrain layout, combined with a 50:50 front-rear weight distribution ratio and low center of gravity, made the FD a very competent car at the limits.
