Some larger scratches near RX-7 logo on back. Overall very good condition - see photos. No major accidents. Has ORIGINAL RX-7 Floormats, full tool kit, removable car phone antenna, hubcap tool. Includes odometer (trip mileage). Recent issues have all been repaired and documented. Has original sound system, cassette player, CD player, radio. Radio works - but for some reason it says TAPE while the radio is playing; you can press TAPE to see what station to you are on and change station fine. Tape and CD player were having issues last time I tried it. I can test it again if this is an important feature; I am just worried about getting a tape or CD stuck in there. Let me know if you want me to test it and I will. Fuel was flooding engine, but problem was repaired and with proper shutdown with each use, this is no longer a problem. This 1993 Mazda RX-7 is finished in Silver Stone Metallic (SSM) over black leather paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. A complete rebuild of its sequentially-turbocharged 1.3-liter rotary engine using OEM parts only was done 2,579 miles ago by a rotary specialist shop in NJ for +$10K. All paperwork and history is included. Factory tuned and dyno'd to prove its health. Cooling and reliability mods done for +$2K - includes new OEM wiring harness and vacuum hoses, aluminum radiator, metal AST, and cat-less downpipe. Windshield was replaced due to a minor rock chip, new tires were mounted, and wheels & brake calipers were refinished to look new. Clean Carfax report. Clean Texas title. Repainted with original paint code (SSM) 600 miles ago for +$8,500. No orange peel, over spray, dirt in paint, or flaws anywhere. Looks and feels new.All books, tools, keys, spare tire, manuals, factory car cover included. Only thing missing is the original window sticker. No creaks from suspension or rattles from interior. Safe to drive. Safe to boost. Cold AC and new emblems and battery cover installed since pictures. Here I have my 1991 Mazda RX-7 convertible 13b rotary motor with a 5 speed manual transmission. It has 63k original miles with a CARFAX to prove it. It has been restored/improved but the motor is bone stock. It has fresh paint in the original color and a new top as well as all new brakes and wheels and tires. It drives nice and straight down the road and is very smooth and extremely fun to drive. There is no rust and basically every thing still works on it. All windows work, cruise, wipers, defrost, etc. There are a couple small things I have noted below. I will break down and list everything I can about the different parts of the car below. Engine: Infamous fuel injected 13b 2 cylinder rotary motor with a 5 speed manual with 63K all original miles. Motor runs great and the clutch is nice and tight and it shifts through all the gears smooth, no grinding. The motor is completely bone stock and revs its way through all 8000 redline RPMS extremely smooth. I wouldnt hesitate to drive this cross country and back. It does have a very nice dual exhaust on it but it is ran from the catalytic converter back and the exhaust manifolds are still stock. It does have removable baffles in the exhaust to make it louder but I just keep them in. Gives it a nice, rippy sound when driving without being obnoxious. Body:The body is in great shape with not a single dent anywhere to be found and no visible rust anywhere. It does have the TURBO hood on it, giving it a more of an aggressive look. It was repainted professionally a couple years back in the original white paint. The paint is almost flawless accept for some paint chipping right along the edge of the passenger front fender lip. Could easily be sanded and resprayed. The headlights are LEDs and very bright. All the other lights work correctly. Glass is all in great shape as well with no chips or cracks that ive noticed in the windshield. Wheels: It has a really nice set of 18" black Mazda wheels with great tires. It has all new drilled and slotted brake rotors all the way around with red calipers, as well as new front suspension, new shocks and wheel bearings. The wheels with the new brakes poking through look fantastic in my opinion. Interior: The Interior is in almost perfect shape. It did have the surround sound seats in it originally, however, they were replaced with newer RX8 seats with the driver side having full power ran to it and working. The dash and door panels and steering wheel are all original. It still has all the original radio with CD and cassette player. All the gauges work, but the clock does not show up on the display. It has a brand new, black vinyl convertible top professionally installed with a defrosting, glass back window. The top has the removable "targa" middle section and also comes with a very nice parade boot cover. The "bad":The ac was blowing cold for a while but I started to notice the pulley wobbling a bit on the compressor so I just pulled the belt off for now. It still blows through the vents fine. The automatic pop up headlights dont lift by themselves. I always drive it at night with the lights down and crank them up by hand when I want more light. Overall, This is a super clean RX7 and theyre getting harder and harder to find in this kind of condition. I would call this a very mild resto-mod as most of the car remained stock, it was just visually and slightly mechanically enhanced. This is still a 28 year old classic car and will have to be sold as is, but I invite anyone to come check out the car and drive it before making a decision. I'm 6'4" and although its tight in there for me, I absolutely love driving this car. It feels like a real "drivers" car, and puts a big smile on my face every time I take it out. So are the black convertible top and BBS 15" alloy wheels. The 1.3L twin rotor engine is factory rated at 160hp. Note this is the more desirable Series 5 motor used from 1989-1992. It starts right up without a cloud of smoke and has great road manners and that unique rotary sound. The 5-speed manual transmission is a great complement to the engine and adds to the fun factor. The independent rear suspension and rack and pinion steering are great upgrades from the original RX7 and what you'd expect from such a sports car. The black leather interior is also in amazing condition. I've seen 3-year-old interiors with more wear! The sport bucket seats make you feel like you’re part of the car. The seats also have Mazda’s unique headrest surround sound that is very effective. Everything is in good working condition including the wipers, air conditioning, and cruise control. The car also includes the original owner's manual, targa storage bag, and convertible top boot - all in the same beautiful condition. The RX7 convertible was only produced for four years (1988-1991) so they are somewhat rare. And while you can find some low-priced examples that have been driven hard and put away wet, you won't find many like this one.
