This is a 1998 Mercedes SLK "Kompressor" (supercharged) in Mint condition. I'm the 2nd owner, and I bought it from my father. The car was his wife's and she barely ever used it. I just passed 22,000 miles on Saturday on my spring "dust off" ride. The car has been maintained according to the Mercedes schedule and I have all receipts. Everything on the car functions exactly as it should, and it needs nothing. As you can see from the photos, even the seat bolsters are still perfect. There is no curb rash on any of the rims. All of the paint is shiny and scratch free; and the car has never been in any accidents of any kind. All of the interior is perfect and shows as new. The only imperfection on the car is that the soft touch pain on the center console is notoriously fragile, and scratches easily; typical of early uses of that material esp. on German cars. Also, the care has 3 of the original tires, still in good shape, but if the car is going to be used, they should probably be replaced. I just installed a new battery one week ago. These cars have begun to appreciate in value, and if you keep her nice, the trend is only up from here; it is investment quality. Buyer is responsible for transportation, but I will work with your shipper. Car is located 20 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport. Fly in and drive it home...it's spring time!
