2011 Freightliner Mercedes diesel extended 2500 van extra long chassis diesel motor runs great double din radiocannot read odometer completely faded fresh service runs great minor dent in rear

Full-size bed with full bed-length secret compartments on both sides (also custom pillows on either side of the bed that sit flush to make the bed even wider!)-Large butcher block countertop with removable sink counter space-Hinged counter-space to reveal Dometic 61 gallon fridge/freezer that is on a sliding drawer-17" sink! (very rare in a van/RV) with 12v water pump and two 7-gallon fresh water jugs and a 5-gallon grey water tank under the sink-Custom overhead cabinets with removable baskets for storage space above the bed and kitchen-Insulation throughout the van! When we purchased the van we took everything out and insulated the ceiling/doors/and all sides of the van with 3M Thinsulate (very expensive), Reflectix, and spray foam insulation to keep out the cold in the winter and keep it cool during the summer. The insulation process can be seen in the last photo.-Swiveling driver and passenger seats-Custom LED lighting scheme throughout the main living area, controlled by 3 different switches-Fantastic fan roof vent with wireless remote and rain-sensing feature-Lots of storage space (with separate LED lighting) under the raised bed with a partition in the middle that allows access from front and back-Overhead compartment above driver and passenger seat for more storage space-Privacy curtains throughout the van. We took them off recently but they are still in the van in case you would like to reinstall them. The van already has very tinted windows. -Custom electrical work throughout the van installed by an electrician including: -Espar D2 diesel heater. It runs off the diesel gas tank and keeps the van toasty throughout winter -2 100W solar panels on the roof of the van -Solar controller (Solar Boost 2000e) to regulate power flow from solar panels -Separate battery bank consisting of 2 155ah AGM batteries joined in parallel for a total of 310ah -ML-ACR (This thing is amazing! It AUTOMATICALLY connects and disconnects the AGM batteries to the car battery. This allows the AGM batteries as well as the starter battery to be charged by the alternator while the car is running, and allows the AGM + starter battery to be charged by the solar panels when the car is parked. And it does it all automatically! You don't have to touch anything. It senses the current inflow and outflow of the different components and disconnects/reconnects as needed. -Universal ON/OFF switch for all components. Turning all of the RV equipment off/on is as easy as a flip of the switch. -12v electrical wiring throughout the van -USB sockets throughout the van for charging all of your devices -2000W modified sine wave inverter for use of household electrical outlets throughout the van (We've used a hot water kettle / blender / crock pot / toaster etc... without any problems) -600W pure sine wave inverter and swiveling computer arm for mounting TV/computer (I used my 27" iMac on it), as well as a storage stand above the drivers seat The van is a dream to live in & is ready to be lived in right now with all of the aftermarket components functioning perfectly. The 310ah AGM battery bank is more than sufficient to support your daily needs, even when there is no sun for a couple days. It can also easily be expanded if you feel the need. ******************************************* Okay, now on to the actual vehicle: There are some long scratches/dents along both sides of the exterior that were there when I purchased it. Personally I think it helps the van to blend in when in not so great neighborhoods, and we've spent many nights boondocking in residential neighborhoods without anyone noticing. There are no external components that would give the hint that it has been turned into a camper van so it is very good for stealth sleeping. There is NO rust on the body. NONE. This is a passenger style van and there are windows throughout! Most Sprinter vans have been converted from a cargo-style van and have only one, if any, rear windows. The tires have decent tread and should be able to get a summer or more out of them. All of the cars electrical components are working including power windows, door locks etc. There is an aftermarket alarm system installed that runs off the same key used to start the van. I have 2 van keys. The van has a rear A/C and a front A/C. ******************************************* The current lights on the dash include: SRS - The wire to the drivers seat belt is faulty. Everything still works, the van just can't tell whether or not you have your seatbelt on. We purchased it like this. ( I think this is fixed, just have to take it to dealer to clear code). Low Tire Pressure. The tire pressure monitor to one or multiple of the tires is faulty so you have to manual check the air pressure every now and then. We purchased it like this. ( I BOUGHT the 2 TPSM, just need to install them!) DEF system (check engine light): The adblue heater for the van is inoperable. We purchased it like this, and have had no problemsI ( I bought both NOX sensors & an upgraded Heater element ($600) just need to install!) I have a Mercedes Benz Star Diagnostic laptop and multiplexer (the Chinese knockoff version. The actual version costs thousands of dollars per month.) that I will throw in with the van purchase if the buyer wants it. This allows you to diagnose van problems with the same interface that Mercedes uses to diagnose problems. This can be a lifesaver if you are stuck somewhere away from a Mercedes shop and have to bring it into a smaller shop that has never seen a Sprinter before. It also allows you to diagnose check engine lights as they appear. -Both intake manifolds were replaced.-New, custom fitted driveshaft.-New brakes as of a few months ago-New starter battery 11/2016-Turbo silencer replaced.-NEW DEF-Previous owner purchased the van from an airport shuttle bus company in Maui who had their own mechanics to work on their fleet of vans. I therefore have limited repair documentation from then, but have lots of documentation from 2016 on! New engine has NEVER run on Bio-Diesel! ******************************************* Again, this is a great opportunity for the right buyer! I've put a tremendous amount of time and money into the van conversion and I would like to think that it shows. I would love to see it purchased by someone who can appreciate it and take care of it, but I do realize it’s value to be parted out.
