For sale is my 2000 Mercury Cougar. I have owned it since 2004. Non smoking car. I have installed an alarm system with a remote start, which works perfectly. It also pops the trunk (hatchback area with new shocks). Still has the factory stereo. Although, it could use replacing as the buttons and knobs can be overly sensitive at times. It still works (cd/radio). I did install ALL new aftermarket speakers. All power options work (Like seat, Sunroof, doors, locks, and mirrors). Tinted windows. Mechanically, it has had around $2,500 worth of engine work in the past few years (I have all the paperwork). Some new engine/car replacements were the spark plugs and wires, starter, battery, engine mounts, sunroof motor, cleaned gas tank, and fuel pump. It still could use "perfecting". Like the gas gauge and coolant sensor work intermittently. The minor issues personally didn't bother me because I used this car strictly for commuting. I relied on my mileage and fluid checks to estimate gas use. Most of the car has been repainted with the original color. Nice dark red with sparkling flakes. The spoiler and the roof could use repainting down the road. Look at pics, not bad looking. Has aftermarket rims. Tires will need to be replaced soon. Tags up to date.
