We  began selling vehicles online in April of 2002 and have sold clean, quality used  vehicles to numerous eBay motors customers. We sell all kinds of vehicles, but  we specialize in low mileage, Florida cars in very good to excellent condition.  Florida has a large senior and "snowbird" population - people who don't do a lot  of driving. The 3rd generation Marauder was built in 2003 and 2004 only, with just  over 11,000 units being produced. From Ford Performance: " Introduced in 1963 and running through 1965, then reappearing again for  1969 and '70, the Marauder returned to the Mercury lineup for the 2003 model  year.... ....the SVT-developed naturally aspirated 4.6-liter DOHC V-8 was made  available for use in the Marauder and the Mustang Mach 1, fitted with 4-valve  cylinder heads from the Aviator SUV and rated at 302 horsepower. Ford's 4R70W  four-speed automatic transmission sent power through an aluminum driveshaft to a  3.55:1 rear gearset, all borrowed from the Police Interceptor. This hot Mercury featured a true dual exhaust with chrome tips that exited  at a unique rear fascia embossed with the Marauder name. The car also sat lower,  with a performance-tuned suspension derived from the Crown Vic Handling and  Performance package. Both its control-arm/coil spring front, and  four-link/air-spring/live-axle rear suspensions touted stabilizer bars and  Tokico shock absorbers. The exterior is in very good condition with no significant dents or dings. There  are a couple of minor scratches and nicks, but nothing that stands out. It looks  like there has been some paint work in spots in the past, but it looks good -  not a show car, but a nice driver. Exterior features include unique 18" wheels with the  Mercury "Gods Head" logo on the center caps. True dual exhaust and a unique rear bumper. The interior is also in good shape. The front seats have the Mercury "Gods Head"  logo. Both front seats have power controls.   The rear seat is very nice. This Marauder has a nice selection of comfort and convenience  features: Power windows, mirrors and locks; remote entry; keypad entry;  auto climate control;  rear defrost; cruise control, and more. The steering wheel has audio and A/C controls. Safety features include dual air bags, front side air  bags, anti-lock brakes and traction control. The Marauder has a center-console with shifter. An AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo is standard. The Marauder has white-faced gauges, and includes Autometer Pro-Comp gauges for  oil pressure and Volts. Other features include power-adjust pedals, auto  headlamps and fog lamps. The trunk is very large. This high output version of the 4.6 liter V8 runs strong, rated at  302 hp and  318 lb-ft of torque. No rot under the car... Current mileage is 133,573. You are bidding on a 2003 Mercury Marauder. These cars were only produced in the 2003 and 2004 model years. It has a 4.6 Modular V-8 with 302 HP from the factory. The car has no rust whatsoever. I am the 3rd owner. The 2nd owner that I purchased the car from drove it mainly from West Virginia to his Florida home and return. The car is very tight and solid. I keep it in my garage and drive it approximately 3000 miles per year. Very gently driven. Never driven in snow and seldom in rain. The interior is near perfect with no tears or worn spots on the seats. The rear seats look like they've never been sat in. The car has no mechanical issues whatsoever. The original paint has normal wear for a 16 year old car. Since I have bought the car, I have installed a new windshield (the original was cracked), new tires, tinted windows, cold air intake, and a CD player with small amp installed behind the glove compartment. I am selling this car because I have a daughter who will be driving soon and I will be purchasing a more economical vehicle for her. As you can see from my seller feedback, I am a good seller. I want to be as honest about the vehicle as I can because I would want the same for myself. Car runs/drives great but has a tapping from lower front of engine. Ford dealer wanted 600.00 up front just for diagnosis and estimate. So if you have the skills to fix, this will be a deal. Pre purchase inspection is encouraged (evenings or weekends) Paint fair, has checking on hood/roof/trunk. No rust. Tires Very good, Wheels fair have curb rash. A/C ice cold.
