2003 Mercury Marquis LSE Rare Precursor to the Marauder Like New Loaded Leather The 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis was the top of the line model and was the precursor to the Marauder. It only last one year and production numbers were very low. Here's more information about this rare LSE model:As part of the redesign, Mercury would change the Grand Marquis trim lineup for 2003. In place of the traditional two-model line, the Grand Marquis was expanded to five. In addition to the base-trim GS, there was now GS Convenience, LS Premium, LS Ultimate, and LSE. Introduced at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2001, and in showrooms by May, the LSE was designated as the LS Premium with a heavy-duty rear suspension, shorter rear-axle ratio, and a 239-hp dual-exhaust engine; it offered 5-passenger seating with leather, dual power bucket seats, with a center console and floor shifter. The 2003 LSE was short-lived, as its production ended in December 2002; it made a brief return for 2005. This LSE is in like new condition both inside and out with no rust, dents or dings and a beautiful leather interior. It also runs like a brand new LSE with absolutely no issues and has been well taken care of over the past 16 years. Mustang rims were added to give it a bolder look and they match well with the original paint. Very hard to find 2003 Blue Mercury Marauder. 1 of 328 built. I am only the second owner. Very good condition with only 55,908 miles. Clean car fax with no accidents. Tire were replaced last year and have less than 300 miles on them. Car is all original and runs, drives and looks great. Original factory paint has a deep shine and the interior is like new with no rips or tears. Front bumper does have some bug/stone marks but not enough that I needed to have it redone. There is a small ding by the gas cap and near the back of the roof as well as one very small mark on the edge of the passenger door. Most people would not even notice them but I wanted to be sure to mention them. Original rims look great with only a few blemishes. Comes with both sets of keys and owners manual. Also included is the original window sticker. Only selling because retirement is getting closer and want to start some down sizing.On Apr-29-19 at 14:38:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Added some pictures of the undercarriage and of the driver's side front fender. The original photo of the drivers side front fender had a reflection that looked like a white mark in the paint. It is not a mark, see the added picture of the fender. I do not have a lift but took a picture of the undercarriage from the back of the car. As you will see the underside is clean and only the factory exhaust pipes have some surface rust.
