Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2008 Mercury Mariner Premier. I would rate the exterior of this Mariner to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking SUV. It is finished in Black over Tan leather interior, which is a good color combination. The black finish shines nicely for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Mariner, there is a small amount of rust visible along the rear fenders, which is common as these trucks age. Aside from that, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around this Mercury...just a light scrape visible on the right side of the rear bumper cover. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber that appear to be nearly new. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Mariner came in. I would also rate the interior of this Mariner Premier to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors, and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. I can hear the a/c compressor come on and off but I do not think the system is cooling properly so it will likely need charged or serviced. The heater works well. Passenger room is ample and all passengers can ride comfortably. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this well optioned Mercury came in . Mechanically, this Mariner appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels smooth. The optional V6 makes plenty of power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description.
