Mercury Mountaineer 4X4 Luxury SUV - Super clean! Amazing condition! This vehicle is equipped with 4x4, strong engine (no leaks), strong transmission, trailer hitch, cruise control, Sony Stereo w. remote, Cold AC, stereo and temperature controls also in the back, leather seats, sun roof, large cargo space, new headlights, new tires, new shocks, new breaks, new windshield, original paint in excellent condition, no rust, electric seats and mirrors, fuel consumption computer and factory tinted windows. The flaws: There is a slight humming from the sub woofer when stereo is on very low, at times the tachometer does not work, and the central lock will not lock from the FOB. (it will lock with the rocker switch, and the fob will UN-lock the vehicle)

This is a Mercury Mountaineer. Starts and runs good. Has an alarm system on it. It has cold air and the heater works good but you have to swap the heater hoses around depending on the season. I think the valve that shuts off the heater doesn't work or I have it hooked up backwards so I bypass the heater core in the summer so the air will be cold. And it has the best sound system you ever heard!!! As a matter of fact it will also play CD Data discs and USB memory sticks and you can put a lot of songs on a data CD or a memory stick! Rock the vehicle or try to open a door and all **** breaks loose. Has high miles on it though but still doesn't use much oil. It has 262,248 miles on it so it is for sale "AS IS". The leather on the drivers seat ripped and I covered it with a brown cushion. The stuff on the steering wheel all works but the plastic is all busted up and it doesn't look too good. I bought it 3 years ago and the title is in my name and it is clear. I hate to sell it but my wife died and that leaves me with 3 cars and I am single so I just don't need it. I drive a truck and my wife drove the suv. The tags have expired and it has just been sitting. She died 2 1/2 years ago so we didn't get to drive it much. If you have any questions just shoot me an email. Oh yeah, It gets ridiculously good gas mileage. I won't tell you what it is because I still don't believe it. Every now and then the check engine light comes on and the tester says the motor is getting too much air. That makes me afraid to replace the oxygen sensor for fear that is why the mileage is so good. It will make you a good vehicle. I only accept a $50 deposit via paypal. The balance you have to pay in cash in person as we won't ship it. It has been sitting for a while as I said so I would bring a trailer as the valve cover gaskets may have dried out. It's rear wheel drive so a tow dolly won't work. I would not try to drive it home if you live a long way off but that is up to you. I have never taken it on a long trip. A couple hundred miles or so is the longest distance I have gone in it. It only had about 250,000 miles on it when I got it and it hasn't let me down so far but mostly we used it to get around town. I will need to put the battery back in it. I brought it in the house so I could charge it up every now and then. I removed the white front tag a long time ago. Thanks for looking at my listing!
