Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 60+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with just 131k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Eclipse to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking vehicle. It is finished in Solar Yellow over Charcoal sport interior, which is an eye catching color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Eclipse, there are a few spots where the clear coat is missing. The Yellow color hides it well but you can see it, if you look. Otherwise, the finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The optional rear spoiler gives this Eclipse an aggressive look. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Eclipse came in. As with most of my vehicles, I didn't even wash it for these photos. How you see it is how it came in. I would rate the interior of this Eclipse to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash shows a little curling from age but is clean. The headliner is clean and intact. The deeply bolstered sport seats are clean and comfortable, with minimal wear showing on the outside bolster of the driver's seat. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is the original Rockford Fosgate Premium sound, which appears to be working properly and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. The cargo area is spacious and clean. There is also a factory subwoofer in the trunk. Mechanically, this Eclipse appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. this Eclipse is a blast to drive. The clutch is brand new...literally. I had a brand new clutch put in this vehicle because the clutch was worn out when I got it. Needless to say, the clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the five speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you are viewing this car you probably fall into one of two groups of people. One, you are familiar with DSM's and when you see this car you know exactly what you're looking at and you appreciate the car in it's entirety. Or two, you don't know much about DSM's, but you're interested and like the way it looks. I will tailor this description to those who may not know what they are looking at. You may see Z06's, Viper's, Ferrari's, even Lamborghini's driving down the road...but at the end of the day they all look the same. They're not unique and you can bet someone else in a neighboring county has the exact same car. Probably even the same color. I can guarantee you will never find a car like this...anywhere. You won't find a DSM that has been customized exactly like this one. As a matter of fact, I'd bet you won't ever see a DSM that is as clean as this one in general. This car is truly one of a kind, and turns heads everywhere. I've literally seen this car draw more attention in public when a Ferrari is sitting right next to it. Let me start off by saying that I DO NOT want to sell this car. Typing out the build list and even listing it makes me sick because I know how much time and money I put into this car. Only the best parts were used, and no expense was spared. Everything on this car is basically new, down to the bolts. Also, I want to make it very clear this is not a high school garage project build. I have all receipts showing that I have invested over $30,000 into this car, on top of the price of the car itself. There were no shortcuts taken. Everything was done right, and done professionally. All the work I did on this car was done with the intention of it lasting. I wanted this car to be both reliable AND fast. It was professionally built by Alamo Auto Sports in Arlington, Texas. This car is featured on their Facebook page. The build was completed on this car just under 2 years ago, and about 1000 miles ago. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. It runs perfectly. Let me clarify on that point again, the car is PERFECT. It drives perfect, it looks perfect- you won't find a cleaner DSM out there. There are no weird noises, no quirks, no issues whatsoever. It drives like a brand new car as it should, seeing how it practically is a brand new car. As of now, this car made 405 WHP last time it was on the Dyno at Alamo Autosports. That's at 20 PSI. When I built this car it was built to one day be converted to race gas and re-tuned to around 30 PSI. I specifically built the engine to be able to handle 600+ Horsepower. Convert it to race gas and re-tune it at 30 PSI and you will be making A LOT more power. This car running 20 PSI is nothing to the engine. It's basically like Lebron James playing basketball on a kid's goal. When I was car shopping years ago I would sometimes come across cars that were recently built and I never understood why someone would turn right around and sell it. It made no sense to me, why spend all that money and then sell it? Well, now I am in that boat and now I can relate. Soon after I built this car I found out I had a baby girl on the way. She consumes my life now and I just don't have time for much else. It sits in my garage hooked up to a battery tender and I drive it once every week or two for about 15-20 minutes just to make sure it's being used. At this point, it's actually an inconvenience to have to go out and drive this car with everything going on in my life. I just flat out don't have the time. This car needs an owner who has the time to enjoy it and get their use out of it. Someone who has time to appreciate it and drive it. Walbro 255 Fuel pump, 6AN fuel lines, cometic head gasket arp head studs, VSFR intercooler, HKS blow-off-valve, new headlights, new tail lights, timing belt water pump, all the belts new, only one old is the balance shaft belt. Needs a paint job (paint faded) to complete the car.Carpet is new, seats are black leather rare to find, all black interior, AEM air/fuel, pro sports voltage, boost, water temperature, and oil pressure gauges. NRG steering wheels suede new, NRG quick release new 3G brake booster, ABS deleted 20G new turbo, 3-inch exhaust from turbo all the way back.Great fun car to have unfortunately I hardly use it so it is being sold.
