Vehicle Description This is definitely not your typical 2005 GTO. Lurking underneath the unsuspecting body is a drive train that will challenge anything else on the street! First though, lets start with the body and history of this GTO. With only two owners since it was purchased new, this car has only turned just over 9,600 miles and is in excellent shape both inside and out. The Silver paint is in excellent shape and matches the mostly stock black interior very well....  This is where the stock components end though. The heart and soul of this GTO is the stroked 402 cubic inch LS2 V8 pushing over 670 horsepower to the rear wheels! The internals consist of Compstar crank & H-beam rods, Wiseco pistons, and a Flowtech custom camshaft. Hardened pushrods going up to Scorpion 1.7 roller rockers that are mounted to a set of high flowing AFR 225 heads equipped with gen 4 valve springs top the short block off very nicely. The icing on the cake though is the MP122HH Magnacharger supercharger equipped with a 1:1 rear pulley and a 3” ECS ribbed pulley on the front pushing 9 PSI of boost. The MSD blast coils and wires connected to NGK TR-6 plugs ensure a strong and consistent spark every time and the 80lb injectors make sure it is fed sufficiently. Letting all of that power breathe is a set of Kooks 1 7/8” long tube headers connected to Kooks catted mid-pipe, and flowing out the back is a Borla catback kit providing a very healthy sound. To plant all of this power though, you need an equally built transmission so the 6-speed had underwent a stage 3 transmission strengthening build including a SPEC stage 3 clutch and light weight steel flywheel, a Tick performance clutch master cylinder and bleed line, and up top a Billet Productions pro short shifter. The transmission is hooked up to a BMR carbon fiber drive shaft and billet axle stubs. Finally moving on to the suspension (which of course was not left stock) is the Hotchkis front and rear sway bars with Pedders heavy duty Front end links and SLP bushings in the rear for added stability. A Noltec cross member, differential insert, and radius rod bushings to plant the power and reduce wheel hop. Koni adjustable shocks and struts have been added to adapt the ride as you please. This GTO is an absolute animal and has been built very well. This GTO will not disappoint and has would cost a significant amount more to build one up similar to this. A rare chance to buy a 2006 Pontiac GTO being sold by the original purchaser with all associated original car documents and purchase papers. NEVER WRECKED (or flooded, or any major damage). Clear title in hand and ready to sell. My wife, then girlfriend, bought this Cyclone Gray Metallic Pontiac GTO with 185 miles on July 5, 2006 from the dealership in Carlinville, Illinois. She used it to commute to work in St Louis until July 2009, when we trailered it to the Phoenix Metro area in Arizona. In Phoenix Metro, she used it to commute to work until February 2018. The car was always garaged while in Illinois and in Arizona. When she ordered it, the dealership was able to locate one of the last OEM Sport Appearance Packages (front fascia with lower valance, rocker extensions, rear fascia extension, and deep-sounding mufflers with dual/dual chrome exhaust outlets) in the U.S. and installed the package along with painting the racing stripes. I noticed the CarFax/Report indicated 2 owners; this is due to my wife's name change on the title after marriage. She has definitely been the only owner. --My goal is to describe the car in as accurate detail as possible so you know exactly what you are getting. NON-SMOKER Vehicle Mechanically: The engine and automatic transmission run smooth and reliable like a Rolex. Zero issues. I have video of the engine running and exhaust sounds (contact me). Any interested party is welcome to have their mechanic inspect the car (at their expense). Exterior Condition: The original paint is in Very Good + condition (the Cyclone Gray Metallic looks more like light blue but Pontiac called it gray). A few rock chips on the front, average wear-and-tear you'd expect. The are some minor door dings but nothing overly noticeable. The rear fascia extension is pulled a little at the bottom middle and there is a minor tear in the plastic. The wheels are very good + as well. As I said before, the car was never wrecked, not even a minor accident. Interior Condition: The original carpet and mats are in great condition as you can see in the photos. The driver's side seat has some threading open on the top corner. The rear seat headrests have threading open and the leather is dry. All four leather seats are overall in very good condition (no cuts, etc and aside from described above) with the leather being soft. The plastic inside is in great condition without cracks. The steering wheel shows the mileage and a couple of the radio buttons are loose (this is very common with the GTO)- I purchased another steering wheel with button assembly that will be included. Electrical: The radio system, 6-disc Blaupunkt CD changer, speakers are working fine. The power windows, locks and front seats are operational. I installed a new Duralast Gold battery on 20 SEP 2018. There is an airbag fault warning; I checked the fuse and it was OK- The GTO forums said it could be the 'clock spring.' Air conditioning: One of the lines has a small leak in it where it loses freon in a couple days; but all other components are operational. I got a few quotes to repair the line but thought the purchaser may be interested in fixing it themselves to save money. Tires: P245/45ZR17 Nitto Motivo tires (installed on 13 APR 2015 @ 114,604 mi). 60k mile warranty, lots of tread remaining. Spare tire: Factory spare tire w/ 5 spoke wheel and jack in trunk. Never used. Key: The included factory GTO key has a dead battery (a Pontiac design flaw where the battery can't easily be changed but some people solder in a new battery). I purchased another fob but have not able to program it to unlock the doors or pop the trunk. The doors can be locked/unlocked at the driver's door and there is a trunk button in the glove box. Mileage: Accurate as indicated at 143,370. This is a great car with the LS2 V8, 6-speed manual, and an awesome stereo system. Car has been in Florida and garaged for a majority of its life, is in very good condition, see photos. It has never been in an accident. The car is completely stock, never been modified or raced. It has been treated kindly and maintained throughout its years with me.
