I am putting my 1992 Porsche 968 up for sale. It is a six speed manual transmission. I have a clean title and carfax report for it. I have always kept it garaged and only driven it in nice weather conditions. This is a very rare car especially because there were not very many of them made with the cobalt blue color, which is gorgeous. I searched Nationwide for 3 years to find a coupe 6-speed in the cobalt blue color. I love this car but need to let it go as we underestimated our home remodel costs. With that said, I will not sale it for less than it is worth. Do not bid on the car unless you have read this entire ad, are serious about the car, and have the funds necessary to purchase it. I am an ASE master certified technician and an Automotive Instructor. I have done several maintenance items on this car when I purchased it about four years ago, which was only 500 miles ago. I installed a new timing belt and balance shaft belt including new tensioner and idler pulleys, cam and crank seals, water pump, and thermostat. I have also replaced the oil pan gasket and valve cover gasket. I replaced the tune up items as well, such as the air filter and spark plugs. I have done regular oil changes with Royal Purple oil and WIX filters. I installed drilled and slotted rotors. Recently, replaced the power steering hoses, pump, and the rack and pinion. I also replaced the radiator with an all-aluminum performance radiator. It still has the original R12 air conditioning system. I resealed the A/C compressor and charged the R12 back up and blows nice and cold with no leaks. This car is mechanically in great condition. The exterior is in pretty good shape with only a few small blemishes. The car was repainted about 5 years ago just before I purchased it and they did a pretty good job. It is the original color. There are some very small blemishes that you don’t notice unless you are looking for them. Other than that, the only significant imperfection on the exterior is a small cut out in the rear bumper where the previous owner had a tow hitch attached. I removed the hitch, but have not repaired the 2 inch cut out. My plan was to make a custom rear diffuser that would cover it and look better than original. A good body shop can plastic weld it and repaint it, or just buy another bumper and repaint. I just bought the Turbo Twist wheels that are currently on the car and had them powder coated this beautiful copper metallic color. They turned out phenomenal and really make the car stand out without being too over the top. The interior is in excellent shape. I recently just reupholstered the front seats due to some cracking. I bought new factory floor mats which look great. I purchased the car from Texas, where the sun baked the dash with lots of cracks, so I replaced the dash with a good used one. It does have a couple very small cracks by the defroster vents as you can see in the pictures. I found that it is nearly impossible to find one without any. Other than that the interior is near perfect. I have also purchased a wood dash trim kit which looks awesome in these cars. I have not installed it yet in case the buyer wants to keep the car original. But it will go with the purchase of the car as well, see the picture. I also have the car posted on East Idaho Craigslist and the classifieds on KSL.com if you want to see more pictures. These cars are going for well over $20,000 in good condition. One recently sold on bringatrailer.com for $36,000 with 66,000miles. This one has a few flaws and a few more miles which is why I am not asking that much. I am asking $15,000 FIRM! I have lowered my price as low as I am willing to go. I know the market for these cars and I feel that my asking price is very fair considering the condition. Once the car sells, a $500 deposit via PayPal is required up front. Then the car will not be released until funds have cleared. Cash at pickup is preferred or certified check will be accepted. Well maintained, Low Mileage (63,093),1994 Porsche 968. Everything works as it should, including Power Convertible Top, Electric windows are very fast, Power seats works as it should, AC is Ice Cold and Heat also works exceptionally well. Cruise control works as it should. Very Rare Optional 17 inch Cup Style wheels from the factory, with great tires on the car. Engine runs great and pulls very strong thru out the rev band to redline. Great oil pressure, recent oil change and new air filter, power steering fluid changed and new wiper blades. Interior is in excellent shape with the only non stock item a replacement radio (Kenwood), which sounds and works perfect. All speakers in stock locations with no cuts at any location in the interior. Exterior paint looks fantastic and shows that it was a garaged car its entire life. No real dents or nicks in paint, original paint never hit and well cared for. Doors and hood and truck look fantastic and open and close perfectly. Top is in overall good shape and appears to be a very well cared. No crack on dash. This car has clean title. No Accident and No other damages reported to CARFAX. Beautiful one owner 1994 Porsche 968. This car is in fantastic shape and good to drive from day one of ownership. The 3.0 engine producing 236 BHP, was the largest 4-cylinder of its time.
