Used, runs ok, drives ok, A/C seems ok, has some rust/rot holes on top right (maybe other places?), paint is fading, rear hood/trunk won't open all the way - they hit each other, fender was replaced left front, interior is dirty, interior wear & tears/rips, some stains, has some good size dents, scratches, scuffs, dirty, dusty, smoke/cigarette odor, transmission shifts good, A/C seems ok, drove it for about 5 miles, 10% tread left on tires, exterior needs cleaning & repairs, see pics! You are looking at a 1991 Toyota MR-2 Turbo with T-tops. The car was gone completely through in 2008, including a repaint with all moldings, mirrors, bumpers and windshield removed so there is no tape lines or over spray anywhere, and no fish eye or orange peel. The engine was remove, inspected, all gaskets, seals, valve adjustments, belts, water pump, tune up, clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearings, and more were all replaced. I have also recently replaced the tires and the car runs and looks outstanding. The seats have normal wear and tear. The reason I am selling my MR 2 is I have owned it for more than 10 years and only driven it about 5,000 miles. I am older and its not as easy getting in and out of this car. She's a great car but it's time. In 2008, we had the car professionally appraised and it came in at $9,100.00 and that was 10 years ago. These cars are rare to find and one in this condition is nearly impossible. I've noticed over the years that these cars are going up in price and this is a great example of what a factory fresh MR-2 should look like.

Up for sale is my right hand drive Japanese market 1993 Toyota MR2 GT (Turbo) with 111,000 kilometers or 69,000 miles. This car was legally imported from Japan within the past year by Japanese Classics and is legally registered in the state of Virginia with a clear Virginia title. The car is completely stock with no known accidents or issues. The GT is the highest trim available to the Japanese market and was not sold in the United States. Under the hood is the gen 2 3S-GTE 2.0 liter that puts out about 230hp in the jdm model, which is 30hp more than the cars we got in the states. The power is sent to the wheels through a 5 speed manual gearbox which was the only option on this trim. Both the engine and transmission are original and the clutch is in great shape. About 9,000 miles ago the timing belt and water pump were replaced and I have a maintenance book that came along with the car but unfortunately it’s in Japanese. It also has new tires with less than 2,000 miles on them and a new battery. There are no mechanical issues and it runs beautifully. For being a 25 year old car it is in wonderful condition but it does have a few minor cosmetic flaws. As far as the exterior goes, there is a small scratch that is barley noticeable under the passenger side air vent and there is about a two inch scratch in the rear bumper by the license plate. Also, the paint on the roof, hood, engine lid, trunk, and spoiler does have some hard water spots, but they are barely noticeable until you get within a few feet. The paint on the top of the front bumper is also cracking and slightly fading but isn’t horrible. The interior is in great shape but the leather on the left side bolster of the drivers seat is a little cracked but hasn’t ripped. The power antenna has also been broken off but the motor still works. Other than those few cosmetic flaws, there are no other issues with the car.
