Up for sale is a bit of a project Rav 4. A buddy and I were buying up vehicles for projects, this was one of the last ones we worked on and we ran out of steam. When we purchased it, it had a gas tank leak. We replaced the gas tank and then the master cylinder for the brakes was out. It sat for something like a year and finally I just took it to a local shop and had them replace the master cylinder. I haven't driven it except home from the shop. I would guess it needs some front end suspension work (a few clunks). The timing belt was done right before we purchased it and the owner had the gas leak. When replacing the gas tank, the wire snapped on the fuel sending unit. We didn't fix that but it is accessible from a hatch inside the vehicle. The battery is also new but it seems like when it's parked for an extended period, it drains. Not sure how long it takes to drain as it sat months at a time. The ac dryer was damaged when the last mechanic was replacing the timing belt so he just removed it. I'm happy to answer any questions I'm able to. My cell is 319-325-5427. This could be a good little vehicle (I did try the 4x4 or whatever version this has and it worked to get out of some deep snow when I was moving it this winter). On Apr-26-19 at 15:35:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I just remembered, the exhaust is a little loud, I don't believe there were any issues with the muffler or piping back by the gas tank where we were working so there must be something nearer the front causing it.
