Please expect a certain amount of wear, use, and flaws as is standard on ANY used car. All used cars including this one may have dings, nicks, chips, glass marks, fading, scratches, paintwork, accident history, rust, wheel or rim imperfections, or any other issues that are associated with use that is consistent with age and mileage of the vehicle. We try to take as many photos as possible some scratches and dings may not show up very well due to color and lighting if you are unable to inspect in person we recommend a third party inspection. Obviously a car that is 10 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old. We will not be responsible if you do not some inspect in person. What about the vehicle’s history report? We often use these services to check a vehicles background. Carfax and Autocheck are wonderful services, but they have their limitations. Many times they will show more “owners” than we may state a vehicle has had. This is because they are an information service only. They have never seen the car, owned the car, and have no other information about the car than what is reported from different agencies. All of this information is originally hand entered into their databases at their source and mistakes and inconsistencies will occur! For example when a dealer such as ourselves purchases a vehicle they may pick it up as a new owner when this is of course not the case as dealers are not end users. Also they often contain mileage errors and inconsistencies that appear to make little sense. Just like any computer generated information report you need to know how to read the report & when to read between the lines. Having seen thousands of these over the years we can help you understand the information listed in these reports, just ask. Can you explain your as-is / warranty policy? Cooling System; Leakage including radiator, Improperly functioning water pump. Electrical System; Battery leakage, Improperly functioning alternator, generator, battery, or starter. Fuel System; Visible leakage. Inoperable Accessories; Gauges or warning devices, Air conditioner, Heater & Defroster. Brake System; Failure warning light broken, Pedal not firm under pressure (DOT spec.),Not enough pedal reserve (DOT spec.),Does not stop vehicle in straight line (DOT spec.),Hoses damaged, Drum or rotor too thin (Mfgr. Specs),Lining or pad thickness less than 1/32 inch, Power unit not operating or leaking, Structural or mechanical parts damaged. Steering System;Too much free play at steering wheel (DOT specs.),Free play in linkage more than 1/4 inch, Steering gear binds or jams, Front wheels aligned improperly (DOT specs.), Power unit belts cracked or slipping, Power unit fluid level improper. Suspension System; Ball joint seals damaged, Structural parts bent or damaged, Stabilizer bar disconnected, Spring broken, Shock absorber mounting loose, Rubber bushings damaged or missing, Radius rod damaged or missing, Shock absorber leaking or functioning improperly. Tires= Tread depth less than 2/32 inch, Sizes mismatched, Visible damage. Wheels= Visible cracks, damage or repairs, Mounting bolts loose or missing. Exhaust System= Leakage. All cars are used machines and used machines need general repairs on a regular basis many times without prior warning. This is especially true for name brand highline & exotic vehicles that have more elaborate features and systems. Also repairs are more common on say a 10 year old model car as opposed to a 2 or 3 year old model car since they cost significantly less than a newer car. Obviously the older the car the more possible this is of happening. So this is why we highly recommend again that you purchase this warranty for your own peace of mind and general satisfaction. What you have just read is basically common sense, but there are some people who don’t understand what as is means so this is why we have spelled it out in plain English. Can I purchase a long term extended warranty? Most vehicles qualify for a 2 or 3 or 4 year extended warranty plan depending on mileage and age of the vehicle. There are several different plans available for most vehicles. Some vehicles may not qualify for extended warranties. Exotic vehicles, High performance luxury vehicles, antiques vehicles, or certain high mileage vehicles may not qualify for a warranty plan. However most of the vehicles we sell on eBay will qualify for an extended warranty. No matter how comprehensive any warranty is it does not cover routine service or maintenance. Nor does any warranty cover every item on the vehicle. It is merely an insurance policy offered to offset the cost of more significant expenses. Once the auction is over we will go over these details with you if you are interested. All vehicles are sold as-is as stated above. However a select few late model cars may have the remainder of factory warranty and if this is the case that will be clearly listed in the vehicle listing. Can I see or inspect the vehicle in person? Prospective bidders are always welcome to come, view, or arrange on site inspections of the vehicle they are interested in BEFORE the close of the auction. We recommend buyer have a third party inspection if buyer is unable to inspect vehicle in person before the close of auction. Once the auction has ended the vehicle is now considered sold and we do not permit any post sales inspections at that point. Do you end auctions early? We reserve the right to end any auction early should we deem it necessary. However this is quite rare and occurs in less than 2% of all listings. But occasionally we have to end an auction early because we made an error in the vehicles options, description, warranty, or have a title issue. Vehicles are also sold locally and it will be necessary to end the auction at that time. Also any bid retractions within the last half of the remainder of the auction are subject to be ended early at our discretion. We further reserve the right to refuse the sale of any vehicle to any bidder or buyer at our discretion should we deem it necessary. What are the technical legal terms? Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Pennsylvania in the Montgomery County Courthouse. By bidding on this auction the bidder / buyer agrees that any legal action will be heard in the County of Montgomery in the State of Pennsylvania. Buyer agrees to be responsible for all legal costs including but not limited to court costs, expenses, attorney fees, cost of process service, and any other cost associated with the normal course of business. Once the vehicle is paid for in full insurance is required from the buyer. We do not insure the vehicle after payment is made in full. This is especially important if your vehicle is being transported via car carrier . How does shipping work? We do not arrange shipping for any of our vehicles. Vehicle shipping is the responsibility of the buyer of the vehicle. You are welcome to use any transporter you choose to come pick up the vehicle from our dealership. If you do not have a transporter we may be able to suggest one for you. Also you can do a web search for vehicle transporters for a greater selection. We do not take vehicles to shipping terminals or shipping ports. All vehicles must be picked up at the dealership during regular business hours Monday - Saturday. Pricing and delivery times are between you and your shipper. Average shipping time is 5 - 15 days depending on many different factors. It is recommended that exotic or high dollar vehicles be shipped enclosed (but that is a personal choice). Also vehicles such as, Limousines, Large Commercial Trucks & Large Vans, etc, may have extra costs associated with them due to size limitations or may not be able to be shipped at all. All buyers should keep the above information in mind when purchasing a vehicle. PLEASE NOTE: Approx. ½ of our cars are transported, and these cars can have no more than ¼ tank of fuel to help the weight down on the transport trucks. Because of the fact we do not know which cars will be transported & which will be picked up in person, all cars will have no more than ¼ tank of fuel at delivery. What happens after I win the auction? At the close of the auction we will contact you by email and ask for your name and phone number. At this time we will ask for your information and charge to your account the $500.00 deposit. Once this is done all we need to do is schedule a time for delivery. Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 29 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. Sometimes it may take longer. Some vehicles are traded in with out of state titles and they must go to the state to come back as a PA title as we are a PA dealership. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. Some vehicles are purchased at auction, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. Most vehicles advertised are new car trade ins and we are usually waiting for the titles to get processed by the title clerks or the state. Some of the vehicle titles are held are collateral until vehicle is paid for. Which means if you come and pay for a vehicle on Saturday, we will allow you to take the vehicle home, however we may not be able to pay for it until the next business day. We further reserve the right to refuse the sale of any vehicle to any bidder or buyer at our discretion should we deem it necessary. If payment is made by cashier's check, money order, or auto draft checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared personal checks are not accepted. If you are planning to pick up the vehicle in person, these are the hours we are open for eBay deliveries: Monday (10:30-5), Tuesday (10:30-5), Wednesday (10:30-5), Thursday (10:30-5) and Friday (10:30-5) and Saturday (10:30-2). We are closed on Sunday, and all National Holidays. If these hours do not suit your needs, then please arrange to have your vehicle shipped. These are the ONLY hours we will be delivering vehicles. We will have all required paperwork ready for you upon your arrival for a speedy delivery. Please give us 24 hours notice if possible so we can detail & prepare your vehicle for delivery. What if I can not come to your dealership to pick up my vehicle & I wish to have it shipped to me? If you are shipping your vehicle, Payment needs to be established within 3 days either by Wire transfer or mailing check. If mailing pleases overnight the check and provides us with tracking so that it does not get lost and we can process it as soon as possible. Once you have completed this simple task we will then enclose the vehicle title, temporary tags, registration, and send them back to you via UPS. At this time you can arrange shipping for your vehicle or if you have already done so you may let your shipper know that the vehicle has been paid for and is now cleared for pick up. Please try to give us (or have your transporter give us) 24 hours notice before pick up so we can have your vehicle detailed for you before it leaves our dealership. Temporary Tags, & Registration is charged separately. For our out of state buyers 30 day transit tags are $100 good in all states. International bidders, including Canada will be subject to an additional $100 fee due to the extra costs associated with completing those sales. Things such as international phone calls, faxes, UPS packs, and wire transfer fees add up quickly for us when doing business outside of the U.S.A. 2008 Toyota Yaris. Original 16964 miles. No accident ever. Clean carfax and auto check I have both available. Miles are original, all the record is available on carfax. Tires are in good shape. Cold Ac, heater works perfect. This one is a base model so it comes with manual windows. When I bought the car paint was faded I have the old pictures. I did the complete paint job. It was used in Pennsylvania by one owner and after that they moved to florida so on carfax it says 2 owner but basically it’s one owner vehicle. Undercarriage few panels are really minor brown I can’t call it that it’s rusted. I posted the pictures of undercarriage too. I have 7 years experience of buying cars for franchise dealers and I buy really low miles cars just to sell them on eBay. With my experience I can tell you that this car can last for another 300 thousand miles if you maintain it properly. Oil change sticker is on the window last oil change was done on 16000 miles. Brakes are also good. Regarding the price I am asking for the miles and condition is reasonable. If you are florida resident you will have to pay for tag title and sales tax. But if you are out of state customer I can give you 30 days tag and you can pay tag and title and sales tax in your state. No dealer fee or any other fee.
