2008 Volkswagen EOS 2.0T Hardtop ConvertibleAutomatic99,700 miles Car has some type of fuel issue. The car will cut out under throttle and stop running. Not sure what the issue is. This could possibly be an easy fix for a good vw mechanic. Major Maintenance Performed: November 2014 / 63,000 miles· VW replaced piston rings and head gasket due to excessive oil consumption. This was done under warranty. July 2016 / 80,000 miles· VW replaced timing belt, rollers, tensioner, damper, and water pump. Cost of $1020.· VW replaced elastic cords for headliner. Cost of $580. February 2017 / 86,000 miles· I replaced turbo with a new Borg Warner K03 turbo. Parts Cost of $1100. April 2018· Replaced High Pressure Fuel Pump. Cost of $203. May 2018· Replaced low pressure fuel pump, low pressure sensor, fuel pump control module, and fuel filter. Cost of $250
