Rare 2000 Eurovan Camper with TONS of upgrades! We’ve recently bought a house and won’t have much time for camping. We’ve put a lot of love and care into this van, and really want to give it a new home with folks that will use it and love it. This is a mini-RV, perfect for stealth camping, or getting into places bigger RVs can’t. It drives like a mini-van, but when you’re ready to camp, simply spin the two front seats around, pop up the top, and pull out the awning - you’re all set! Prepare and cook dinner in the kitchen w/ mini sink and 2 burner propane stovetop. When it’s time for bed, there’s room for 4 adults, two can sleep “downstairs” on the fold down rear seat, and 2 more can sleep on the “upstairs” bunk. The propane furnace keeps you toasty all night. Camping for us means going to secluded off-grid spots, so we’ve set this van up to be a perfect boondocking RV. All interior lights have been replaced with LED lights. We’ve replaced the power hungry refrigerator with a YETI cooler. The old AC inverter is replaced with a state-of-the-art DC only power system (long lasting Lithium battery that gets charged through Solar Panel or the van’s alternator). This van has a clean title and drives like new thanks to regular maintenance and full bumper to bumper inspection by VW Dealer and local Eurovan mechanics. Original Transmission constantly locked at a cool 90 degrees, thanks to German Transaxle Transmission Cooler. We’ve taken this little camper all over Southern California. It travels extremely well with all the comforts of home. This is our cherished VW Camper. It is in very good condition and don't let the miles fool you - just about everything that could be rebuilt or replaced has been and we wouldn't hesitate to take it on a trip anywhere. Most recently, we replaced the master brake cylinder and auxiliary engine fan, but most of the stuff that can wear out has been replaced by us or by the previous owner within the last 10,000 miles. We added keyless entry, HD radio and have a number of spare parts (like an ignition switch and seat release) that we'll include. . Our VW technician says this is the strongest engine of all the Eurovan Campers or Rialtos he works on. The truth is - its a blast to drive. Plenty of power and maneuverability. It has a beautiful oak wood floor in lieu of the more mundane carpet, and the stove, refrigerator, furnace, sink all work like they are supposed to. AC blows ice cold - we're in the hot south so that's important. It's not perfect - I'd say the body is an 8 out of 10 - there are some flaws if you look closely but as you can see from the photos the van looks great. If you know what these vans are then you pretty much have the whole story. You also know that a fully restored van would cost much much more. We've taken the mileage and title history into consideration for pricing. The only reason we are selling is because we are planning on moving and we have too much to move and want to set aside some $$$. (Plus one of our older dogs gets car sick on long trips and that sort of defeats the point so we haven't taken a trip in awhile). For clarity, we are aware of the history of this vehicle. According to the previous owner, they hit a guardrail and damaged the front right fender area but the van was insured as a conventional (and much cheaper) regular Eurovan so the insurance company wrote it off because of the cost of the repair versus its supposed value at the time. It was bought back and he replaced the fender since nothing underneath was damaged. That required a rebuilt title in his state. Our Louisiana title, though, is a clear title - not a salvage or rebuilt title. We have had no issues related to that history, by the way - its just a great EV that we've continued to improve as we've owned it. Sold as is. You are welcome to inspect before purchase.
