However they decided to go to University in Europe so I will move with them and will not take the Eurovan with me. It has been a passion of mine and I never hesitated to do what was necessary. There are a few more projects left to finish but they are very minor andeasily done. Mollë has lived her life in Washington and California and is clean and rust free. She is now in NEW YORK as I just completed driving her across country with plans to relocate but as you can see those plans have changed. She is low mileage and can easily go another 100 or even 200,000 miles with proper care. The A/C is ice cold. And she performed flawlessly through LA traffic, the lower Mojave desert Las Vegas through Utah the Continental Divide, plains of Nebraska on up to the Allegheny Mountains and into the Big Apple and even through Manhattan. Her lift and tires give her great access to camps other Eurovans could not attempt. You can add up the upgrades I made for yourself and see the value here. A brilliant vehicle. And fits in a standard garage. All of the interior panels have been removed, sound proofing and Luxury car 3M insulation has been installed. The panels were then cleaned prepped and primed with Rustoleum Burlap Universal Paint. This seems to work best and was tested on the interior door handles for 6 months. If for any reason you do get a scratch a $6 can will fix it up in no time. But the handles are in great shape still after 6 months of use. What is left to do: The exterior work is all done with ethe exception of installing the Thule Roof rack rails as GOwesty does. I cut and drilled full length aluminum bar washers for both sides because that's how I do things. You will need to drill oversized holes, fill them, and then drill standard holes through the fill and then bolt them on. Easy job, just didn't have time. The Rear DVD player is brand new and needs a + & - wire run to the rear bus and screwed on. Very simple. I had planned to resurface all the Formica to match which is a very easy job. But ran out of time. Also the new fridge does not have all the AC propane hookups so it freed up space below the fridge that will need a utensil drawer fabricated. In addition, after 20 years the uncomfortable foam mattresses got the odios as well as the noisy covers. Notice how GoWesty uses Sunbrella on theirs. The new, memory foam mattress needs a cover and I also bought the GoWesty Mattress topper. This van has had a lot of professional work done and interior work done. I was a Commercial Contractor for years and I owned an electronic manufacturing company so things were done right. Good luck bidding. You'll love this van. If I was in the US I would not let it go. As a note: I just drove it to Brooklyn but in Southern California I constantly got stopped at intersections, parking lots and asked about it. Good luck.

An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. It is my pleasure to offer this 1993 Volkswagen EuroVan MV for a NO RESERVE auction. This van needs absolutely no introduction. If you're reading this, you know what you're looking at. I would rate the exterior of this EuroVan to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It is finished in teal over gray interior. The teal finish shows a little age at spots but is presentable and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this EuroVan. The only damage I can see is a small dent at the base of the tail gate. Additionally, there is visible rust through on the front of both rockers and a few small bubbles under the finish over the rear wheels. All in all, not bad for a 25 year old van. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The weather seals on the Westfalia camper top are all in good condition and the top raises and lowers easily, as it should. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheel covers are all present and show well. The tires show some age but have decent tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This is a true factory Westfalia van that is completely original inside and out. Like all of my auctions, this rare Westfalia van will be sold to the highest bidder with NO RESERVE so bid to own. I would rate the interior of this EuroVan to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are exceptionally clean throughout this van. The upholstery is all clean and comfortable. The factory tape deck has been upgrade with an aftermarket CD player that sounds good through the factory speakers. The power windows, mirrors and central locks all work properly. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This Westfalia also has a factory auxiliary heater for the rear. This rare van appears to be complete and in original condition. It comes with four keys as well as the original owner's books. In the rear, the seats are clean and comfortable. All of the cup holders are intact and functional. The folding dining table is also fully intact and functional. The rear bench seat folds flat into a bed. In the rear, the end of the bed doubles as a shelf with storage below. This van has a complete set of curtains, all of which are in great condition. Even the front wrap around curtains for the windshield and doors are present. The camper top raises easily and locks into place. Above is additional sleeping quarters, too. With the top raised, there is standing room inside this van. The cloth surround to the raised camper top is in great condition and seals fully. At the front of the camper shell, when raised, is a window that can be closed for privacy. Without the privacy curtain up, natural light fills the van through a screen that is fully intact. The screen also opens to allow airflow into the cabin. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean, complete and original this Westfalia van came in. Mechanically, this EuroVan appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L five cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older van. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. If you stand on the brakes at highway speed, you can feel a little vibration. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts normally with zero issues. This is a cool van that gets a ton of looks everywhere it goes. It is in good original condition, with just the right amount of patina to make it interesting. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. This is a cool, cool van that is fun to drive and is ready for adventure. This van is being sold with NO RESERVE, unlike the other Westys on the market. This is the Weekender version of the Volkswagen Eurovan MV. It was made by Westfalia (if you know what Westfalia is, you know it's the real deal).DMV considers it a "passenger vehicle" and therefore it is allowed to park in the street, no need for 72 hours permit is SD unlike RV's and trailers! It has a pop-top (sleeps two), convertible rear bench (sleeps two/queen size), an electric cooler under the seat, huge trunk storage, extra accessories battery under driver's seat, a folding table, a separate heater blower for the rear, cold AC, cruise control and a few other goodies all around.It is in good shape and served us well for near by camping or longer road trips. Extensive maintenance was done:- Complete exhaust system including new catalytic and sensor / last smog was perfect!- Complete brake overhaul including flexible hoses and rear cylinders- Radiator, water pump, thermostat and expansion tank- Spark Plugs- Timing belt and tensioner- Various oil change including transmission- Etc.Needs attention / Priced accordingly:- Pop-top canvas has been repaired (tears / cosmetic only)- Broken radio antenna- One rear facing seat is missing its seat belt- Few dings here and there- Missing some curtain clips- Rear facing seat trim is missing its clips- Some gear shifts are sometimes harsh at low speed. Never bothered us that much.Let's be honest: it's the perfect vehicle for someone who knows how to use a screwdriver. It is a 25 year old vehicle, don't expect it to be brand new. I'm a 50 year old man and this van has been my daily driver for the last two years. I'm selling it because I want a truck so I can go offroad. This vehicle is a lot of fun to drive. It seats 5 people comfortably in the back and if you remove the seats it's great for camping or hauling stuff around in. Low mileage - only 118K milesClean Carfax - no wrecksI had the 100,000 miles service completed on the vehicle at the local VW dealership when I purchased itThe exterior and interior are in very good condition for the age. There are a few dents and scratches which are in the pictures but nothing unusual for a 17 year old vehicle. Overall, the body is in great shape.The paint is in excellent condition. No flaking clear coat.There is no significant rust that I'm aware of. There are no cracks in the dashboard and the headliner is in good condition.The front seat and two rear captain's seats are in great condition. I installed a new bluetooth stereo after I bought it and the stereo system sounds great.The sunroof works. The engine runs strong.Keyless remote worksTires are about 1 year oldThere are some very smalll tears in the fabric of the rear bench seat. Nothing that can't be fixed with a nice seat cover.The transmission shifts through all gears but occasionally shifts hard between 1st and 2nd gear. The shifter won't move into gears 1,2, and 3. The AC works fine but has very small leak that I can't locate. I know this because it blows cold for a few days after I recharge it and then gradually blows warm as the refrigerant leaks out.The driver's side window is not working. I have not spent any time troubleshooting this.The carpet behind the rear bench seat is worn out a little.

Many people have reservations about purchase a used car when they cannot physically inspect or test drive the car. This is totally understandable. However, a car is sold on ebay motors every 12 minutes so it is definitely becoming a more common way to purchase vehicles. Since we sell VW camper vans that are rare and hard to find, we routinely sell vans to out of state clients so we have become very good at facilitating these sales. Here is a brief overview of the out of state buying process: 1) Select the vehicle you are interested in off of our website or Ebay. 2) Review all photos closely. There should be at least 30 and as many as 60 photos of each of our vehicles. If you want to see photos of an angle or feature or even underneath the car, call or email us and we would be happy to accommodate your request. 3) Watch the video of the vehicle. We are working on taking videos of all of our cars so if you do not see a video on our website or in the Ebay listing, then please call or email us and we will make a video just for you. 4) Review the Carfax or AutoCheck. We have a copy of the Carfax or AutoCheck for every car on our website. Just email us or call and we will email you a copy. 5) Request a copy of our inspection and service invoice. This must be done prior to the end of any auction. Our service department has performed a pre-purchase inspection on every car and we can email you a copy of this report along with any service records that we may have. 6) Arrange an independent inspection (optional) - If you want even more peace of mind, we can help you arrange an independent 3rd party inspection at our local dealership or with a mobile service like Lemon Busters. Once again, this must be done before the end of the auction. You would just call us to arrange this. 7) Apply for Financing (optional) - If you need financing, you would want to apply via our secured credit application BEFORE the end of the auction. You will want to make sure that you qualify to purchase the vehicle you’re interested in before becoming the high bidder. We will then fed ex you all of your paperwork including title applications and finance contracts with a return fed ex envelope. You would sign your documents and return them with a cashier’s check or loan check. Alternatively, you can do a bank wire which speeds up the process. 8) Shipping - once we receive your signed documents and the balance due on your vehicle, we will arrange the shipping of your vehicle through a licensed and insured transport truck service. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping, but we do it for clients at wholesale and can usually save you hundreds of dollars in shipping costs. To get an idea for what auto transport costs, look at the information below: Shipping from WA state to: -California - $400-$600 -Texas - $700-$800 -NY/east - $900-$1000 -FL is - $1100-$1200. 9) Title work and transfer - We will supply 10 days worth of temporary tags which you will start the day you receive your car. Our title clerk will fed-ex your states licensing application, the vehicle title, etc to the nearest DMV to your residence. You will then go to the licensing office to finish registering your vehicle. 10) Follow up - We will call you to make sure you received your vehicle with no issues and that you are 100% satisfied. We will then be available via phone or email in case you have any technical questions. We also offer a lifetime discount on parts and accessories to our Ebay buyers through our e-commerce and Ebay stores. Disclaimer: ATTN: WA state residents - if you are the winning bidder of this vehicle, we will also collect sales tax and licensing fees from you on top of the final sales price.
