It is time...It is time to let our adventure van go. :(This 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan is the Westfalia Edition.It only has 137,000 miles and many many more to go.This Van gets attention everywhere, and it makes every drive like a mini-vacation.These Eurovans have so much space inside and not only are they good for sleeping up to 5 adults but also for transporting bulky goods. With only one trip we helped our friend move from LA to Las Vegas.We took a couple of trips to From LA to The S.F. Bay Area and these were wonderful! We now live here :)Oh, and it makes a great mobile office with an integrated table!The Van has had a major transmission rebuilding service in Aug 2018 with a 2-year warranty. Among new spark plugs and valve cover seal. It has been in a great maintenance plan. We are the second owners.A recent trip to my mechanic gave this adventure van a clean bill of health. A few sensors were replaced to improve responsiveness and gas efficiency.The good:-Low Miles-AC Working-No oil/fluid leaks-Pop top sleeper in great shape-Maintained well over the years-Rebuilt Transmission ($5,500) in August 2018-The engine is in great shape-Valve cover gaskets replaced 2018-New Serpentine Belt-Clean inside-Power windows-LED rear turn signals-Original Eurovan Bike rack.The sad:-The previous (original) owner was not the best driver and unfortunately scraped both lateral sides and small dings here and there.-Could use a new set of front tires-Air heater not working. (My mechanic quoted me about $400-$500, but I never needed it with our sleeping bags and bon fires in the outdoors)-A few armrests need to be repaired.I am taking my time in selling so please no low-ball offers.

This van was originally purchased from a retired United Airlines pilot in Orlando, Florida in 2010 with about 25,000 miles on the odometer. It was stored in an airplane hanger. Since then, this has been a second car - mostly road trips - and has been in a heated garage with minimal winter use. It is the camper version sans the pop-top. It is in excellent condition mechanically, the paint shows minor wear and there are only a few small dings in the body. The interior is in clean and in great condition. I has the more powerful 24 valve engine that was standard from 2001-2003 model years. -201 horsepower, 24 valve VR6 engine- Bilstein shocks, front end lifted 1.5 inches, tires are very good. -Tinted windows -Regular maintenance -Second jumpseat (not pictured) is included. This vehicle is difficult to find with this mileage and in the condition that it is in. Please no dealers or resellers. I am looking to give it a good home. Thanks.
