Engine is a 1996 12valve vr6 engine code AAA. The motor has 262 cams and ferrea valve spring kit. Bottom end is stock and has 9.1 head gasket spacer. I just resealed the motor 15k ago and put new piston rings. Turbo is a garret t3/t4 60-trim none ball bearing. Tail 38mm wastgate and tidal blow off valve. 770 cc injectors with Bosch o44 fuel pump. C2 Motorsport software. I have a stock transmission in the car right now code o2a. I have a second transmission with a quaife lsd but 4 gear is shot. I have fully adjustable coilovers. Car does have some rot that can be seen on walk around video on rocker panels, rear body and lower quarter panels that will eventually need to be repaired.

Incredible condition VW GTI, manual transmission, turbo charged engine. 2 front tires replaced about 2 months ago. Brand new battery replaced this week with 3 year warranty. This is the Canadian model GTI which is usually priced higher than the USA ones. You will be hard pressed to find a better condition GTI in the used car market. 2 owner vehicle, purchased from a family friend who is an auto collector/enthusiast that kept this car in showroom condition. At about 40k miles, the Volkswagen dealer replaced the main engine components (full engine block, pistons, cylinders, rings replaced). This was because the old engine let out a tiny bit of smoke at high RPMs. This is something that a normal car owner may not mind, but this individual purchased this car expecting it to behave flawlessly. The new engine has only about 35k miles and has performed perfectly (records can be made available for this work if requested). This car is a joy to drive and has been carefully kept, has never been driven in ice nor snow, and has an ech system tuning chip which adds further performance perks. Interior has not one blemish or flaw and everything functions. Exterior has one very minor scratch on front bumper. Unfortunately it is time for me to get an automatic due to knee issues that are exacerbated by depressing the clutch.. but I have enjoyed every second of owning this car and will be hard pressed to find a sports car of equivalent caliber.
