Well loved and maintained 2011 Volkswagen GTI 2 door coupe Autobahn Edition. I drove this car cross country from Florida to Colorado without any issues. Now that I'm living the small town life and everything is nearby I just don't use it much anymore. Time for it to go to a new home. Car is very good mechanical condition. There are a few cosmetic issues (see images). A couple of door dings on the driver's side, a curb scrape to the bumper and front wheel on the passenger side. Interior is in excellent condition. Leather is not dried out or cracking. Previous owner upgraded the performance to APR Stage 2. This is one very fast GTI. Here is my 2011 Volkswagen GTI, it is a 4 door 2.0 tsi with a 6 speed manual transmission. It currently has 113,xxx miles on it, though that will increase as it is my daily driver. It has been fully maintained, and is in excellent running condition. Though this car has had some slight upgrades, it hasn’t been driven hard. I normally always keep it under 3k rpm as I am more concerned with mpg. This car has been consistently getting 31 mpg when driven normally and 33 if driven conservatively. I only run 91 octane 100 percent gas through it. I really enjoy driving this car as it handles well, has good preformance, gets good mpg, and has a decent amount of cargo space being a hatchback. It is the perfect all around daily. Though I need slightly more room to carry gear, which is my main motive for selling it. If you have any questions feel free to ask my number is 40559312four three. Up for sale is my '06 VW GTi 2 door 6 speed manual that I special ordered from New Milford VW in CT without a sunroof and with 18'' Detroit wheels . In '06 Xenon headlamps were standard and later became a $1000 option and became somewhat rare after that . The difference is literally night and day . I have the original window sticker and '' FAST'' character given to the first buyers of the then new Mk 5 GTi .I also have the spare keys , owner's manual and books . The car has been garaged it's whole life and rarely driven in winter ( snow tires never put on it ) , and kept in bone stock condition . Almost all maintenance was performed by NM VW until they went out of business whereby I did the oil changes and other routine maintenance myself . It has been so well cared for that I've never washed it with soap - only clear water and always by hand . It's never seen a car wash .Please note I instructed the dealer to not drill the front grill for the license plate and opted to zip tie the plate down below . The factory plate holder is in the trunk . There are zero issues with the car and everything works as it should including lights , A/C , heat , stereo / 6 disc in dash CD player , power windows , power door locks etc . There are no check engine lights or malfunction warnings . The car is adult owned ( 62 ) and was never abused . Over the years this car has required very little beyond oil changes , filters , coolant and brake flushes, a couple batteries , 3 sets of tires , a half axle ( done for torn boots ) and a thermostat . It also came through with an exceptional paint finish much nicer than most of the cars I've compared it to . Perhaps this a function of the special order status . There are very few stone chips and no door dings . I have multiple cars and am only considering selling this to replace it with a new Golf R . If I had storage beyond the 4 cars I own I'd keep it . Hoping to find someone who will care for it and love it the way I have . Rare opportunity to buy a used car that doesn't look or feel like one .
