Low Reserve 5 day auction. Hello you are looking at my 1998 Jetta GLX VR6 black on black leather car. California car with ZERO rust and no accidents. The black paint shines real nice. The hood and the roof where sprayed with bed liner (it can be removed) the previous owner said he did this because those spots where starting to fade. I like it gives it that sporty aggressive look.The car shows 190k miles on the clock however the previous owner had the engine rebuilt. The car has approx. 8k miles since the engine was rebuilt last year and runs great. ( I didnt ask the previous owner for the rebuild paperwork however his info can be given as reference if needed) This car pulls very strong it has a 5 speed transmission that shifts smooth into every gear. It has an aftermarket stainless steel dual tip exhaust that gives it that sport tone. Not loud or annoying just a low rumble. Everything on the car is working except for the heater. The AC blows cold. This was the top of the line model of its time and it has great factory accessories like heated seats, moon roof, power locks, power windows etc. All the interior is in near mint condition with the exception of the 2 front seats have become unsown from the bottom middle seams. They aren't ripped just unsown some string and needle should be able to bring these back to new condition. BfGoodrich Tires have about 70% life left in them and the brakes are good also. Suspension/Shocks are new. Everything mechanically sound. The only things this car needs are minor. It needs a new key reprogrammed to the car the key it has now is old and sometimes struggles to communicate with the immobilizer therefore it doesn't recognize the key sometimes. This never bothered me since it only takes a few tries and it starts without any problems. The other minor issue is that it will need new front wheel cylinders at speed you will start to hear them, again this never bothered me so I left it as is. ABS light goes on at times. These are just minor issues and don't obstruct from driving the car now and enjoying it as is. I have the clear and signed California title ready for the new owner, the registration expired just a few days ago and I will not be renewing it. I will let the new owner handle that with the title transfer. This car is being sold as is where is no warranty. I answers all questions promptly. I can take more pictures if needed. The car comes with Title, 1 key, and 1 alarm disarm fob. You are welcome to come take a look and test drive it. Serious individuals only. white, 2 door, 2009 MK5 GTI with the TSI turbo 2.0L engine. It has the mild APR stage one ECU softwareSport exhaust. I don't recall what brand the exhaust is. It has no resonator and sounds good. It pops and gurgles a little. However, it's not obnoxious racer boy loud - it's just right for a car like this. Hot hatch!The car has been well maintained by Brink Motorsports in Austin most of it's life. I have all the maintenance records as far back as Brink's system goes and the maintenance I've done recently with Brink.It's my daily driver. I'm selling to get into and electric vehicle.You shouldn't need to do any maintenance for a good while.If you like the MK5 GTI, this is a great example. The emblems are blacked as are the from corner signal lights.There's also an intake that helps the APR tune out. It lets some turbo sound out and adds to the fun.I've really enjoyed driving this car as my daily commuter.There's not much else to tell. Email me with questions.

Beloved 2008 Volkswagen GTI For Sale !!**~SOLD AS IS - NOT RUNNING / FOR PARTS~**!!White exterior, black leather interior, touring package KBB value is $4-5K+moonroof +power locks, windows, side mirrors +power steering +heated front seats, side mirrors +carbon fiber interior details +leather steering wheel / gearshift knob +tires recently replaced Aftermarket parts:+euro style tail lights +clarion radio with cd / dvd, gps navigation system +auto start +front grill Unknown electrical problem, computer will not recognize key in ignition. Doesn't crank, doesn't recognize key, computer cannot be accessed. Car was brought to a general auto shop and then a VW shop, both couldn’t find the problem and wanted more money to continue trying. Prior to this, the car ran great, with the exception of the air conditioning being unreliable (heat worked fine). Maintained regularly and well cared for; bought in 2011, VW replaced engine & turbo in 2013, stopped working in 2018. Car shows some minor wear and tear: front seats are cracked around edges and there is a small tear in the passenger seat, small dings/scratches on the exterior body. Front bumper was taken off at a shop when the headlight needed replacing and not installed back on properly. In 2017 the car was rear-ended and had the rear bumper replaced, back hatch was replaced with a rabbit door. Tires had been replaced a month prior to this, still in great shape.
