In great shape, brand new all season tires. just replaced break rotors and pads. 38000 miles but I am still driving the vehicle until it sells. Small dent on passenger side above the tire, as you can see in the picture it isint very noticeable and does nothing to the function of the vehicle. Very smooth car, Just had an oil change and everything looked at and everything looks great! great car, lots of power for a 4 cylinder and great on gas, selling because i can no longer afford it. Need the cash to pay bills. 2008 Volkswagen Passat Wagon 2.0T with the TSI Engine 6 Speed Auto with Paddle Shifters.95k miles on it. Has been our family car since the end of 2016. Originally got it after I sold my TDI Wagon to VW when the Diesel buyback happened. I am the 2nd owner.The LUX edition is hard to find. Most 2008 and newer passats are the Komfort models which don't have all the options or nice trim. Options include front and rear parking sensors, home link, fog lights,6 disc in dash radio with MP3 , Sat radio and AUX IN , Heated front seats, Wood Trim, Digital Dual AC Controls, rear window shades,sunroof. On the highway I get anywhere between 30-34 mpg.This has the newer TSI version of the 2.0 Turbo engine which got rid of some of the problems associated with the previous years FSI engine. When I bought the car I pretty much did all the preventative maintenance that is typical with the VW. I will make a list of major things below.Have twins on the way and all of sudden my 5 seaters are going to be worthless. (already have two sons)Just sold my Pontiac Vibe. This is next. Vehicle Description Up for sale is a very well optioned 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI with just 89k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Passat to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It is finished in Black over Black interior behind professionally tinted windows, which looks great. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage.... On this Passat, the worst I can say is that there are a few rub marks on the bumper covers...which are only visible up close. Other than that, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Passat. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. There is a star in the windshield on the far right side. It is out of the field of vision but below the AS-1 line. If your state requires periodic vehicle inspections, please consult with a local mechanic to see if this will be an issue for you in your state. Aside from that, all of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of Goodyear Eagle F1's with nice tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. This Passat SEL Premium came from a local VW dealer and has gone through all of the recalls and carries the balance of the extended VW warranty that came as a part of the recall. Additionally, it was just serviced at VW and is good to go. I would rate the interior of this Passat TDI SEL Premium to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory VW all weather floor mats are included. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear for their age. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors, and sunroof all work properly. Being an SEL Premium, there is not a single available option I am aware of that this Passat does not have. It has wood accents throughout the interior, touch screen entertainment center with GPS navigation, and Fender Premium Sound. The audio system is original and sounds great through the premium speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too! The rear seating area is absolutely huge. I am 6' tall and I can have the driver's seat adjusted for myself and then sit in the back and still have 4" of knee room. This is one of my favorite cars of all time. In addition to that, the trunk is ridiculously large. The only two things I could find inside the cabin that were broken is the little knob for the mirror controls (always comes off) and the garage door opener panel is missing. There is also a nick in the tint on the driver's window. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this well optioned Passat came in. Mechanically, this Passat is ready to go. The turbocharged 2.0L diesel engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It doesn't leaks or smoke. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and makes smooth power. The only idiot light on is a warning for a running light being out. The DSG six speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfect with zero issues. This Passat TDI SEL Premium is perfectly at home in literally any driving situation a person has any business being in. It is completely reliable, remarkable comfortable, extremely efficient, and surprisingly quick. I've personally put the last 1,000+ miles on this Passat and it gives me an average fuel economy of 37mpg. As I mentioned earlier, this has been through the factory recall and is ready to go. It carries the balance of the warranty that is associated with the recall. It is a pleasure to drive around town, thanks to the torque of the turbo diesel engine.
