I am selling my Phaeton. I am the third owner and have used it sparingly. The second owner bought it from the first owner after only 4 months of ownership due to a death. The car is in super shape. There are only two things I know that need attention. 1. A couple of the wheels have a little curb rash. I bought the car this way and never had it addressed. 2. The rubber covering on the glove box push button has become gummy over time and when my wife pressed it to open the glovebox, some of the rubber came off on her fingertip. The button should be replaced in order for the interior to look as new. The interior is perfect other than the glovebox button. I installed the bluetooth onstar conversion. The car looks, runs and drives as new other than the items I mentioned. I have more photos and can take more detailed photos of any part of the car requested. I am also open to having the car inspected at your expense at any place within reasonable distance. I have a warning here though. No one including the dealer has any expertise on this car that I have been able to find. It is one of the major reasons I am selling it. I am getting close to retirement and am getting a new car with a warranty. Please ask any questions you may have. It is as close to new a Phaeton as I think you will still find. The car comes with 4 remotes that also look like new. I did wash and wax the car for photos. I did nothing to the engine compartment. You are looking at the engine compartment as it is on a 13 year old car with no cleaning. The car is exceptional. I really don't drive the car, so if you have serious interest, make me an offer.

This has been my daily driver for 2 years. It's been an awesome high end car. Feels like driving a living room attached to a race car. I always wanted one because they are so rare and the Phaeton story is so special. My family is moving, downsizing, and all cool cars have to go. I'll start the bidding at 99 cents. I tried to take pictures that show the car's condition. It is impressive enough that I get questions and compliments about once a week from strangers. I have installed a bluetooth adapter allowing you to connect bluetoth devices (your phone) through the audio system. It's a typical Phaeton with the following common issues:- Paint flaking off some of the buttons- Engine light on for Air injection system.- Plastic door protector strips are bulging out.- Clearcoat over black paint is in bad shape. The Phaeton was Ferdinand Piech’s swan song. He wanted to make the ultimate four door saloon. He arguably created one of the best cars of all time. At its introduction it was almost twice the price of an S class Mercedes. Being badged a Volkswagen did not help the car sell very well. The powers that be at VW decided to strip off some of the more outrageous features (custom cast trunk hinge parts made by Campagnolo in Italy) of the Phaeton and rebadge it as the Bentley Continental. From the 6.0 liter 12 cylinder engine, all wheel drive to the height adjustable suspension and electronically adjusted dampers, the car never ceases to amaze. The side windows are double pane glass. The dash vents have motorized wooden covers. The front seats are multi adjustable as well as heated and cooled, they also have a Shiatsu massage function. Power tilt, telescope and heated steering wheel. Each key fob automatically sets the seat and steering wheel to your stored setting as well as your radio stations, on volume and light delay upon arrival. When the car is turned off the drivers rear retracts and the steering wheel move up and forward to aid in egress. The shoulder belts height is electrically adjustable. The rear seats feature their own individual climate controls, foot rests, privacy curtains and motorized rear privacy screen. The rear seats are multi way adjustable. They electrically recline, are heated and cooled and have Shiatsu massage. The passenger rear seat, often called the “owners seat” has control of the forward and aft position of the front passenger seat. Five full size alloy wheels and tires with pressure monitors. When the wiper washer function is used it washes the windshield then it pauses for several seconds before making on more pass to get that last annoying drip. Push a button and the wiper blade move up the windshield and park to aid in wiper blade replacement. I could go on and on... with things like; the leather used for the seats. It is only from bulls that were pastured height up in the mountains. Why Bulls? because they don’t get pregnant as such they don’t get Stretch-marks. Why pastured high up?
