We are selling this vehicle because we recently bought a new, 8-passenger minivan. Over the past 27 months, we have replaced the spare tire cable, all wheel lug nuts, the rear wiper blade, and the interior hi/low beam switch.Power sliding doors and rear wiper assembly have been lubricated, a 150k-mile check up was performed, a successful NYS inspection took place in December 2018, and a recent oil change occurred in February 2019. Visible surface rust can be seen on one or more wheel wells. There is obvious surface rust on the lift gate. Light scratches on the driver side. Some paint blisters. This VW has dual power sliding doors, power lift gate, and backup camera. The power sliding doors seem to work with higher probability via the key fob and front console and less likely with the adjacent door button. The backup camera does not display a clear image most of the time. The minivan is nicely equipped with dual heated seats, Bluetooth, U-Connect, 6 disc in-dash CD changer, in-dash mp3 jack, Sirius/XM radio, 6 speakers, navigation, first/second/third row reading lights, and dual screen DVD player with wireless audio. There is one DVD player in both the second and third row (each can play a separate movie or the same movie). All are known to be functional at the time of this writing. Our large family will certainly miss these creature comforts on our trips, both long and short. Two functional key fobs are included. We paid about $150 for the second fob and it is considered to be in new condition. There are no open recalls on this VW as of 3/10/19 according to myCARFAX. Reliable. Dependable.
