Over the last 2 years me and my best friend have worked to make this vehicle mechanically reliable and stable. The entire cooling system has been rebuilt, engine has been taken apart(heads) to replace original head gaskets and other seals, dashboard circuitry has been upgraded. Radiator fan circuitry and fan have been fixed and replaced. All other non-working parts have been replaced as is listed below. Overall, the total money having gone into the reconditioning of this vehicle stands at about $17-18,000 not including the vehicle purchase price. For the price that this vehicle is being sold this will be the best mechanical condition vehicle in my opinion. Most vehicles sold for under $10k appear to just be base vehicles that have immense rebuilding needs for their age. This vehicle has had an unspeakable amount of issues resolved and brought into a nominal condition. My friend has moved away and I no longer have the ability to pursue "van life" at the moment. I plan to storage the vehicle for future use but it is also not a good idea to keep it stationary for years as that might develop issues of its own. The 1990 and 1991 are the most desirable ones out there. This gem has the Subaru EJ 2.2 installed with the Kennedy Engineering Products kit with receipt. Also, has the small car world harness. Van Cafe Big brake kit up front so you will stop on a "dime". 15 inch alloys with BFG tires, Bilstein shocks all the way around. This Westy currently has 180,105 on the clock, swap performed 80k miles ago. Timing belt and water pump changed out within the last 15k. It was painted in it's original white due to fade and clear coat peeling. The pop top was changed out to a three window variety. All the camping equipment is present and accounted for. Has a PROPEX heater to keep you warm, too. Worked well when last used according to the previous owner. All the screens, curtains and covers are present and accounted for.
