Here is an extremely clean example of a Volvo 240. It was originally from Georgia, the previous owner drove it up north and stored it in a garage. He barely drove it over the years, hence the low mileage. I bought it from him later on. He owned the car for seven years, but I have had it for only one year (since last August). I never drove it in the snow or when salt was present on the road. Not much rust on the car, only a small patch on the rear axle. Despite being a 25 year old car, the A/C still works very well. Repairs- Fixed the odometer (common problem) and replaced the gear inside the counter. - Replaced front suspension bushings with IPD polyurethane bushings (front control arms + sway bar bushings)- New Koni Yellow adjustable shocks with new shock tower mounts, bearings, and IPD lowering springs (3 inches lower than stock)- New set of 185/70/14 all season tires- All new brakes (rotors and pads + hardware + fluid)- IPD catback- New set of PPS braided brake lines- New distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires- Previous owner replaced the A/C compressor- Previous owner replaced the starter- Fresh oil change (8/21/18) with 10w-40 liquimoly semi synthetic.
