I have owned "Sven" since he was a mere infant at 21,xxx miles.He always has been a pleasure to ride & drive.Always given regular oil changes,belt changes,transmission fluid changed.He has been well loved & well maintained.I think he will be a million mile car.I have replaced him for a younger problematic Volvo for its FWD,who I call Rattles.Mileage is 354,183 (ebay lister will not allow me to include this above) The Good The Bad Ugly ?Always filled with Sunoco Ultra Gasoline and Castrol Oil.The leather has always been regularly deep conditioned. Original Stereo.Original rugs.EXTRA STUFF:Extra set of steel rims (I may also have a set of covers),assorted new & used parts,rubber trunk mat,two repair manuals, Original Owners Manual and a bunch of other Manuals in Original Folio, Volvo Cassette Deck Kit,fuse puller...I will continue to add extra stuff that goes with Sven.I will pull out as much as I can of his paper work.99.9% of the time either Volvo or OEM parts have been used.Other photos available,email.He must go to a good home.again,I think he will be a million mile car.Still gets 25 MPG.Uses no more oil than it did at 21,000 miles.Transmission strong,no slippage. Cruises along at 55 mph tach reads less than 2000 rpm.Front Bumper is an OEM replacement due to being torn off by crazy woman.He needs tires,a tune up,rear brake pads & calipers.There is a very small crack to windshield from a stone,The glove box needs a new lock,I may still have the original and will include it, if found.AC no longer cold.There are scrapes,scratches,small dings,etc.The dash has cracks to vinyl.Headliner is saggy and dirtyThe seat heaters work but the indicator lights do not.The antenna needs replacing. RARE! 7 passenger 1992 Volvo 740 wagon: very reliable transportation-good condition, runs well. Cold air conditioning. Power windows & door locks. CLEAN HISTORY- always a southern California car! No rust. Daughter was driving it but moved out of state. No longer needed. In October of 2017, less than a year ago, we had just about everything under the hood rebuilt or replaced. The catalytic converter was replaced about 2 years ago. The transmission was rebuilt about 2-3 years ago, the engine has been completely gone through, radiator flushed, the motor mounts are new, all hoses and belts are new, brand new top-of-the-line battery, the tires and brakes were new last October as well, there is just too much to list... I have receipts for everything. We had it all done by an independent Volvo shop here in North County San Diego. Just 2 weeks ago the engine got another overall look and check which ended up getting a new head, new head gasket, new head bolts, new exhaust gasket, and more. New medium shade window tint all around. The leather interior seats are all in great shape with heated front seats. The third row seat seems to have never been used before. I recently completely shampooed out the entire interior. There is a new sound system that includes Bluetooth and Bluetooth audio + new speakers as well. The paint is in good original condition. This car has never been in an accident. However, there are a couple of small dents here and there but this car is real heavy steel - like they used to build cars. 1991 Volvo 740 4-Door Sedan FOR SALE 'AS IS' Needs TLC that I don't have the time to provide as I have small children. I stopped driving it about 3 months ago but still runs. - The odomoeter stopped turning a few years back around 174,000 miles. I would estimate the motor has an estimated 210,000 miles since I didn't drive it much because I had multiple vehicles. Motor should be in great shape since the car was bought brand new in the 90's when I was about 10 years old. (I can remember riding on the back seat while being driven to elementary school.) Once I inhereted the car, I changed the oil and filter every 3 months myself. - Transmission still shifts fine (but obviously not like brand new). It shifts all the way up and down and doesn't get hung up in any gears. - The A/C appeared to stop blowing cold air. Probably just needs charging and should blow cool again. - It has a dent on the front left side. I was still driving it when this happened. It happened overnight and the perp was long gone by the time I noticed. Broke my heart, I tell ya. - The exterior paint and interior leather seats both show signs of age. - I was still working on maintaning the car before I quit, so I have 3 spare original Volvo hub caps and the left front blinker light cover. If sold and I can find, I may throw these in. - THE CASSETTE PLAYER STILL WORKS!!! I even have a few 90's cassette tapes that I would play from time to time. No oil or transmission leaks to my knowledge. Again, the car runs great. 1990 Volvo 745 wagon This Volvo was purchased new at Studio City Southern California and stayed in California all its life .The first owner was an MD who past away and car was stored until a few years back after the legal procedure was done I bought that as the second owner ( I have all the documents ). I will not explain the mechanical and structural dependability of this type of cars because I know those who choose these cars already have enough knowledge of them .This car is all original interior ,carpeting and exterior (please see the photos ).There is almost no scratch on the body ,shiny and rich not even been touched up (the only imperfection is a tiny invisible ding on the bottom of left front fender ).It has extreamly solid body with no rust at all .On my last visit to my mechanic shop I was told that car might need rubber front bushing and cartridge in future but no immediate maintenance required ..Radio needs to be upgraded ( original radio is included ) .All electrical ,air condition ,heater are perfectly functional. There are no chips or scratchs on windshield or light lenses ( the black dot on the right head light is a transponder to enter the residential gate ). SRS and ABS are also standard equipment of that year production .According to the Guinness book of records the most driven car so far is a Volvo P1800 with B18 engine over 3.2 Million Miles belong to IRV Gordon of Long I land New York .Car runs and shift properly the way that old generation of Volvo should run .Its totaly odor free never smoked or eat in the car .i stop my marketing activity at this point and ask you to be the judge by looking at the photos and general condition of this classic car which is also a daily driver .Clean title in my name ,recently passed California smog requirements and fees are paid until October of 2019 .comes with several keys original factory manuals ,the original price list and the tools .please ask any and all questions you may have before engaging in bidding process .i respect all bidders and respond to all inquiries promptly however I reserve the rights to disregard and eliminate the bids which I don’t beleive in their legitimacy.A deposit of $ 500 is due immediately after auction termination by pay pal .Thanks in advance for your attention.
