Up for sale we have a 2004 volvo c70 with low pressure turbo. Runs and drives excellent. Please read description below completely. · New tires · Professionally installed gps indash navigational works and sounds great. · THIS CAR IS A CONVERTIBLE MODEL, BUT THE TOP IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. The TOP ON THIS CAR DOES NOT LOWER. It does not work. · We brought to a convertible specialty shop last year to have the top fixed. They could not fix it and said that they installed $3,000 hardware but the convertible ‘sequencing does not work’. They told us that it will cost several more thousand to replace all computer controls on the convertible top. For the 3rd time and to completely clarify: THE TOP ON THIS CAR WILL NOT LOWER OR MOVE. · Oil was recently changed as well as professional shop installed new ‘ignition coils’ that cost me $1,350. · Fun car to drive · Air conditionally/heater works great · Pay with cash or check. · Get the title the same day as the car. Clear North Carolina title. · This car was in Tennessee the entire life of the car and never in salty areas up north. You can slide under the car and see for yourself there is no corrosion. Beautiful Volvo C70 convertible with low mileage and very reliable engine and smooth transmission.Beautiful alloy wheels with tires with 40% average life left. No rust or holes on the body nor on the top. heat and AC works. Leather heated seats. Original floor mats. Check other functions and luxurious features on Volvo websites Now the not so good parts:There are small dents, chips, and dings, etc on the body. and some inside decorative pieces are missing or broken. See pictures.The driver side head light is kind of broken of its attach ability to the car body and it is glued into position. It works fine. The Check Engine warning light is on. Test code is P0455, severe leakage on the fuel vapor line. It happened before and I changed the J hose. Should have change more than that when I was under neath the car. Most likely is L hose or other section of the fuel vapor line. If you find where the leak is, it can be fixed with a piece of 5/8" rubber hose from any auto part store costs may be less than $3. Or maybe purge valve, it can cost a little more. You may find many instructions on YouTube, etc. I am moving and have no time to deal with it. The passenger side window regulator is broken. So the window cannot be raised if you lower it. I got the part, and again no time to fix it. I will include the part with this sale. I disconnected the operation button on the passenger door to prevent the window to be opened. Since the passenger window cannot be raised after lower it, I cannot show you the convertible top is operational, because to open the top requires lower all 4 windows/glasses automatically. The top was last operated last year before the passenger window was broken. You got to fix the passenger window before try the convertible top. I have been driving the car as a non-convertible for over a year. The driver side window glass is operable. But the assignment is a little off. When the window closed there is a gap between the body and the glass. See photo for details. If the car is left in rain, there maybe some rain water blown in. In heavy rain, the left half of inside of the trunk may get wet(I believe it is a hose got disconnected inside the convertible top chamber, where the soft top is contained when the top is opened. Since I cannot open the top, I cannot check or fix it at this moment). The passenger visor is missing. (For visors in a convertible, they are very narrow. Even not missing, it does not help much on blocking the sun) If you could just treat the car as a non-convertible with a non operational passenger window, you do not have to do anything to drive it, except to fix the check Engine light to pass the government vehicle safety inspection. (If they find something else is wrong I do not know now, please do not blame me.)
