Please note that actual mileage may be slightly higher at the time of the end of the auction and/or delivery as the vehicle may be driven while the auction is underway. 2. Bidding on the Vehicle 2.1. Ready to Bid? If you’re ready to bid, great! Please keep in mind a few requirements and courtesies. Please intend to, and be ready & able to (financially and otherwise), complete the purchase of the vehicle within the timeframes set out herein. Participating just for sport without the intention to complete the transaction is unfair to me and to other users, and it wastes a lot of time and money. I may obtain the registered information of users participating in my auctions, and may filter or cancel any bids in my discretion. 2.2. I May End An Auction Early. "Buy it now" auctions may end at any time if the buy it now feature is exercised or a "best offer" is accepted. I seldom end "no reserve" auctions early. However, I reserve the right to end any auction without notice at any time for any reason in my sole discretion. 3. Completing the Transaction 3.1. Contact Me. If you are the winning bidder, congratulations! You must contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements for the completion of the transaction. You must also pay a non-refundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction to secure the vehicle. 3.3. Pay the Balance Due. I accept wire transfers, cashiers checks, and cash in person (under $10,000 only for cash). I accept PayPal for the payment of deposits only. All funds must be in US dollars. 3.5. Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $499 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I dont make exceptions for other licensed dealers. A dealer fee covers administrative papwerork and overnight postage as well as detailing fees for each vehicle. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale. 3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your states sales tax directly. If you come to Florida to pick up the vehicle at my location, I am required to collect either your states sales tax, or Floridas 6%, whichever is less. Generally, you will receive a credit in your state for sales tax collected here. If I collect our 6% because your states rate is higher, you will be charged the balance in your state. I always recommend you check with your local tag agency first; although the vast majority of states have a reciprocal sales tax agreement with Florida, a few do not. Some states also have specific forms or procedures that must be used for out-of-state purchases. 3.5.3. Tag & Title. 3.5.3.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to handle your tag and title work, and I collect an estimate of those costs at the time of sale, which range from $150 to $400 depending on your specific situation. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title. I also reserve the right to report the issue to eBay in my sole discretion. 4. Take Delivery of Your New Vehicle 4.1. Shipping. It is frequently less expensive to have a vehicle shipped to your location than it is to fly in and drive it back, and certainly more hassle-free. I can assist you in finding a shipper and can get very competitive shipping quotes. You pay the shipper directly and are responsible for delivery arrangements. I assume no responsibility for damage to the vehicle incurred after it leaves my premises. Your vehicle will be available to ship out once full payment is received and has cleared; I send out titles once payment has cleared and all other paperwork requirements of the transaction are completed. 4.2. Our family is selling our third vehicle, for a 13 year old volvo it has been a safe reliable vehicle, our reason for selling is we have found an xc90 that fits our three kids a tad easier, otherwise we would keep it. Wife (RN)primarily used in bad weather to get to hospital. I detail cars at lehman volvo in york, pa, thus anything it needed was always addressed promptly and with oem parts. I am not a dealer this vehicle is in my name, wanted to make that clear. Headliner is not sagging, has not been smoked in. In july during an oil change I noticed oil leakage out of the cam seals. Replaced cam seals, timing and serpentine belt, and water pump. its ready for another 100,000 miles now. New parts within the past three months: Windshield and wiper blades(rock cracked the windshield) Air conditioning has been charged Tires up front are new and fresh alignment as of this week. Rear tires are a 5/32 halfway worn basically. New battery due from sitting while on vacation Front pads are new and both rear brake calipers and brake pads brand new. Fresh oil change O2 sensor Detailed Wet sanded and clear headlights, for inspection last week Honestly turn key no bs i believe in karma so not trying to screw anyone over.
