It was very well maintained. This S40 only has 128,860 miles on it. It is tight on the road, pleasant to drive, and is reliable. If you are looking for a good looking and dependable car that has a lot of life left in it, for a cheap price...here it is!...   The exterior of this Volvo is silver and in great condition....it has some small imperfections....but it shows very, very well. This S40 has 4 good looking wheels and radial tires..a nice size spare in the HUGE trunk!!! The interior is clean as a pin...the headliner will need some attention as it is starting to sag....but the car has lots of options with very clean seats. All of the options work, the radio is theftlocked but could easily be unlocked and the a/c is COLD. The 1.9L 4 cylinder TURBO motor starts right up, sounds great, has plenty of power and the clutch shifts smoothly..You may be scared of the age, but we have sold quite a few just like this and our buyers have had good luck with them.... I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and...  drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 Volvo S60 with a Manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The red finish shines and shows well. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific Volvo, there is a scratch on the drivers side rear door and a scuff on the right rear fender. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash is clean but the headliner is in sad shape. The carpets show well but there is dog hair all over them and the drives floor has holes in the carpet. You do have a slight dog oder inside. The leather seats show well and are soft supple and comfortable. Both front seats are heated and the drives seat is power operated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat, and sunroof all work properly. The climate control is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot. It has been a little cold to tell if the air conditioner blows cold or not but the compressor kicks on when you turn on the AC so it most likely works as it should. The displays are easy to read, not all blanked out and pixelated. The trunk is spacious, too. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L straight 5 cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smooth and precise through all gears. The clutch feels good. It catches smoothly and grabs well. It dose not slip or chatter. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This Volvo has a good PA inspection until the end of July 2019. I really have absolutely no complaints about how this Volvo drives. I was pleasantly surprised with this car.
