Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honsetly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Volvo S70. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in Emerald Green over Tan leather interior, which is a classic color combination. The green finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a matching set of Michelins with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this S70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age. The door cards are clean and tight. You can see some typical pulling of the leather door card inserts in the photos. The dash and headlner are clean. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not excessively worn. The leather seats are soft, supple and comfortable throughout the interior. Both front seats are heated. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. You'll see in the photos that the filler panel below the glove box is not present. Inside the glove box is a full set of books and manuals. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. A full set of factory floor mats are also included. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. If I'm being picky, you can hear a little noise coming from the right upper strut mount...but it's occasoinal. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. She runs smooth and drives down the road great! The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for a clean, reliable sedan...a Volvo S70 is an excellent choice.
